I became an agent in July of 2012 transitioning from a career I had for 21 years working for the laboratory of a major healthcare system in Wisconsin. Why would I leave the security of the healthcare field? Because I had reached the limits of my career in healthcare and wanted to return to the challenge of working in a field where my skills in delicate situations could continue to be used while providing me new challenges, fun and more control in serving the needs of the people who seek my assistance. Before healthcare, I worked in sales and as a product buyer for a wholesale jewelry company, a job I loved and would have done for free! Unfortunately, the company eventually disbanded but I never forgot how much fun I had working in sales and as a buyer acquiring product from across the country and making customers happy! So it was a natural choice to look to real estate as a career to use my skills to continue to serve others needs and fulfill my desire to continue to be challenged.More Less
I work with both buyers and sellers in purchasing and selling distressed properties as well as typical real estate purchases. I have a particular interest in working with the elderly and disabled, long time favorite patient populations of mine from healthcare. Sometimes nothing can be more difficult than transitioning someone from a beloved home into another home or environment that better suits their needs. It can be a sensitive and overwhelming process for both the individual and the families that care for them.
I also love teaching, another skill I learned in healthcare training others. Many outside of real estate don't understand the market and the dynamics that affect it. I really enjoy educating my clients and teaching them things many often don't consider when mulling to purchase or sell a home. Give me a call for a free market analysis if your looking to sell or looking for that perfect home!
