Real Estate Agent / Owner, Georgia (23 years experience)
Bought a Single Family home in 2014 in Midtown, Atlanta, GA.
Dawn was an invaluable resource to us in finding our home! We found Dawn on Zillow, but as it turns out, she is also our neighbor in Midtown Atlanta. Once we started our search with Dawn, she helped us to explore not only Midtown, but many intown neighborhoods she felt would be a good fit for us. As recent transplants, it was hugely helpful to have a knowledgeable resource to guide us around neighborhoods, understand pros and cons of each, etc. We ultimately landed back where we started our search - in Midtown - and couldn't be happier - both about finding our home and that Dawn will remain a neighbor! We would recommend her to newbie and seasoned home buyers alike.

It was a pleasure working with you both. I'm so glad you're still in Midtown and are now neighbors with 2 other clients of ours :-)
Dawn fought for me until the very end. She fought for over $12,000 in repairs from the seller and was granted every single request for repair! Even after the sale was complete she kept in contact with me and wanted to know how I was doing.
We were relocating to Atlanta for work but weren't familiar with the Intown Atlanta neighborhoods such as Morningside, Virginia-Highland, Inman Park, Candler Park, etc. Dawn did a super job of showing us all of these neighborhoods and finding several house options that perfectly suited our needs.

Thanks so much! It was fun showing you two around Atlanta to select your neighborhood and new home. I think the lunch at Alons sealed the deal on the final selection :-)
Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $300K in Edgewood, Atlanta, GA.
Dawn served as our buying agent for my wife & I's first home purchase. She has decades of experience/knowledge in the Atlanta area & introduced us to neighborhoods in East Atlanta that we were not previously considering, but ended up loving due to the character & charm they carry over other spots like Brookhaven or West side (which we had thought was what we wanted).
Given this was our first home purchase, we did not know what to expect & everything that could have gone wrong, did go wrong (though problems were created from the other side of the contract, not Dawn). From the day we submitted our offer to closing (nearly 45 days later!) things were very complicated. Without Dawn's expertise, knowledge, & persistence, there is no way we would have gotten our dream home in Edgewood. We were very fortunate to receive a recommendation from our mortgage broker to utilize Dawn in the home-buying process.
Additionally, Dawn has significant experience in home renovations & home-building through her design/build company Environs Residential. After closing there were a few projects that we wanted to have done & Dawn was able to recommend trusted companies with which to get the work done at a fair price.
Bottom line, if you are looking to purchase a house in-town, you can't go wrong w/ Dawn & the ReMax Metro Atlanta Team.

You guys were more than patient with the craziness surrounding this multiple-offer transaction! I'm so glad it worked out and know you will enjoy your new home (and the location) near Candler Park, Edgewood shopping and Marta :-)
Dawn was very patient with us as we looked at different areas of town, and she is very easy to work with. She has been in Atlanta for over 15 years, so she is very familiar with areas of town. She also has good knowledge as far as what you can do with a house, especially if you are looking to do any renovations. I highly recommend Dawn as we are so pleased with our purchase, and the process was quite painless.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review me & your transaction experience! It was truly such a pleasure to work with you both and assist your family in finding your new home!
When I first contacted Dawn, I was on a short time frame and had a very specific need to do something quickly. I also tend to have an aggressive style of real estate purchasing that does not work well with most agents. Dawn assured me that she knew the market and would work with my style. We quickly reviewed hundreds of properties and she answered my market questions expertly, we looked at over 15 on our first day out and then another 12 on the next. I quickly narrowed down my choice to a top 5 list and began to throw out offers. Within 5 days we were under contract and closed in another 7 days. Dawn proved to be an excellent asset in this process and I would gladly work with her again on any real estate transaction - either buy or sell!
Bought a Other home in 2013 in Reynoldstown, Atlanta, GA.
Dawn really knows her stuff. We knew the neighborhood we wanted to live in, but weren't sure about available options- move in ready vs. fixer upper, short sales, foreclosures. She was able to advise us on all. We're SO excited about our new home and please with the knowledge, know how and help we received from Dawn. She was there every step of the way!!!
We connected, but it did not work out. Looking in Atlanta, GA
Dawn Landau with Re Max is the definition of unprofessional.
Make sure you ask her before setting up an appointment if there are any broker agreements that she wants you to sign before showing you properties, because she won't tell you until the night before your viewing. If you politely decline to sign until after your scheduled viewings, she will cancel on you with less than an hours notice.
Then she will proceed to lecture you about "how business is done in Georgia" (false information), and top it all off by telling you she has "more important clients."
Take a lesson from my experience and avoid her at all costs.

I'm sorry you feel this way David. You called me about properties just 3 days prior to the day you wanted to view them. I spent several hours preparing for your showings and did not ask you to sign a brokerage agreement. The day BEFORE we were to meet, I asked you to acknowledge that I was showing you property via an Agreement to Work with Buyer as a Customer GAR form. I did not ask for a pre-qual letter or a retainer fee, just a simple acknowledgement. I also agreed to meet with you to discuss your search and go over the agreement. Had you not gotten so angry on the phone, I'm sure we could have met and then gone to see property. I handle my business professionally at all times and am very sorry you were not happy with the process. Hopefully you found someone to help you...
Bought a Townhouse home in 2013 for approximately $125K in Atlanta, GA.
Very good agent who helped find places in multiple locations in the city within my price range. Ended up buying a place in a part of town other than where I had originally been looking, but am thoroughly pleased with it and like what I was able to get for the price compared with where I had originally be looking. Also is very knowledgable with the Invest Atlanta programs (like AtlantaLIFT and AAHOP) and was able to save me a ton of money by helping me with those downpayment assistance programs.
