Dean's Bio

A Board of Director of the National Association of Realtors for the past five years, Dean Rouso has also served the real estate industry in 2010 and 2011 as President of Midwest Real Estate Data (MRED) — one of the nation's largest Multiple Listing Services, with more than 35,000 members.  He is also the past President of the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS® (MORe) the sixth largest Realtor Association in the nation with more than 14,000 members. Additional past roles include the board of directors for the LaGrange Business Association of which he also served as president in 2001.

Rouso underwent intensive formal training in negotiation strategy and skills. And has attended numerous continuing education courses in negotiations. Over the past 14 years that Rouso has worked in Lagrange-Lagrange Park, he has very successfully negotiated more than $250 million dollars of real estate for more than 800 buyers and sellers.
 
Rouso takes a consultative approach in helping his team's seller and buyer clients assess their needs and then discuss the most effective and efficient options available toward meeting their goals. He and his clients then design a personalized game plan or strategy that will result in the most beneficial client property sale or purchase based on using the power of the "Team" approach. Aside from staying on the cutting edge of the fast-moving real estate industry, Rouso focuses on designing innovative marketing plans for his seller's properties that yields them the greatest price the marketplace will offer. He uses his vast knowledge of the real estate marketplace to help families and individuals buy and sell homes or take care of the details of their relocation.

      Sold a Condo home in 2013 for approximately $125K in Clarendon Hills, IL.
      I have used Dean to sell and buy four homes for me over the years. He always gets me the most money when I sell and the best price when I buy. He is very responsive and has great contacts when I need a contractor to get something fixed. I would recommend Dean to anyone buying or selling a home

      Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $625K in La Grange Park, IL.
      It was so easy to choose Dean to handle the selling of our home in La Grange Park! We had interviewed 4 different agents to get an idea of pricing and services offered. One agent was only interested in getting the listing and gave us very low starting price. The other two agents were a little more in line with what we thought the property was worth, but did not have very sophisticated marketing plans. Dean (and his group) met with us a couple of time before even giving us a suggested listing prices and when we did meet he had a complete market analysis of the recent contracts in the area as well as a detailed market plan, including stagers, photographers, web- and print-based marketing plan. It was so impressive! Clearly, he knew the local market and how to move property in the La Grange area. Once we signed with him, he put the marketing plan into action and the home was listed. We were concerned about being able to sell because is was in September and properties were moving slowly in the area. Well, within 16 days we had a signed contract for 96% of our asking price! I am sure this was due to Dean's masterful knowledge of the real estate market in the La Grange area and his phenomenal marketing plan. After the sale, he and his team continued to be very helpful in arranging tradesmen and all the other little things that can drive you mad before the closing. I you are looking to buy or sell a home in the La Grange area, I cannot think of a better agent than Dean.  MoreLess
