Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $625K in La Grange Park, IL.

It was so easy to choose Dean to handle the selling of our home in La Grange Park! We had interviewed 4 different agents to get an idea of pricing and services offered. One agent was only interested in getting the listing and gave us very low starting price. The other two agents were a little more in line with what we thought the property was worth, but did not have very sophisticated marketing plans. Dean (and his group) met with us a couple of time before even giving us a suggested listing prices and when we did meet he had a complete market analysis of the recent contracts in the area as well as a detailed market plan, including stagers, photographers, web- and print-based marketing plan. It was so impressive! Clearly, he knew the local market and how to move property in the La Grange area. Once we signed with him, he put the marketing plan into action and the home was listed. We were concerned about being able to sell because is was in September and properties were moving slowly in the area. Well, within 16 days we had a signed contract for 96% of our asking price! I am sure this was due to Dean's masterful knowledge of the real estate market in the La Grange area and his phenomenal marketing plan. After the sale, he and his team continued to be very helpful in arranging tradesmen and all the other little things that can drive you mad before the closing. I you are looking to buy or sell a home in the La Grange area, I cannot think of a better agent than Dean.

Yes, 5 stars. I'll put this plainly: Work with Dean and his remarkable team if you are selling or buying a home in the La Grange area.

Dean was the listing agent when I purchased _and_ when I later sold a property in La Grange Park. I am typically difficult to impress and rarely will recommend a service or professional without reservations, so, for whatever that is worth, please know that my strong recommendation to work with Dean is not one that is made casually.

Dean counseled -- and listened to -- me during the whole process. From when and how to go to market to how to best generate and respond to interest. My particular selling situation was fraught with complexities -- not least among them difficult market conditions -- but Dean and his team navigated those choppy waters as if they were smooth as glass.

There are certainly other realtors with whom one could work in the near western suburbs, but *results* are what matter most. You will not be disappointed.

Sold a Single Family home in 2006 for approximately $450K in La Grange Park, IL.

Lowballed listing price but relented and went with our price, which sold no problem. Dean wants a quick sale without regard to the seller. Watch out for that.

Interesting that it took seller 6 years after the sale (sold in 2006) to comment on a problem that was never brought up at the time. The fact is that the at the peak of the market for all sales in 2005 and 2006, this was the highest closed home sale ever ($20,000 higher than next highest) in the Brook-Park neighborhood of Lagrange Park because of the marketing and negotiation skills,. I do not ever recall a discussion or dispute on list price but certainly if the seller felt this way from the beginning, seller had interviewed other agents and had other choices. Seems like seller should be happy....Take a look at other Zillow reviews from other sellers to get a timely perspective. I pride myself and have built a 15 year business on exceptional customer service and excellent results for my clients. Unfortunatlu, it appears that this seller wasn't happy 6 years after the sale. Hate to tell you what the home would sell for in today's market.

Dean helped our family identify the areas of our parent's home that needed updating; helped us find someone who would do the work at a reasonable price; and then marketed the home to its fullest advantage through open houses, photos on line, and the like. He was able to find us a buyer within 21 days of listing and because he knew the market and the area we sold the property for more than we were asking! Professional, knowledgeable about real estate in the area, an expert in the profession as a whole, personable, and the person I would want to sell my home.
