Debbie is an excellent real estate agent who excels at marketing properties and negotiating on the behalf of her clients. My wife and I listed our home with Debbie one month before the 2013 Christmas holiday and Debbie developed a marketing approach that generated steady showings and resulted in a sale within 30 days. And, she was also able to negotiate a selling price for us that exceeded the one given for an exact comp in the same neighborhood.
Debbie also succeeded in locating a home for us to buy and significantly renovate. Debbie dedicated significant hours to visiting the property with us as we conducted walk-throughs with contractors and inspectors (many of which she recommended to us). Unfortunately, we ultimately needed to terminate the deal for this home, but Debbie quickly was able to show us a new set of listings and begin the home-searching process with us once again.
Overall, Debbie has great insight into home-buying and selling, is extremely patient and responsive and works tirelessly on behalf of her clients.
Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $750K in Skillman, NJ.
Debbie Lang was our agent when we bought our home in 2004 and again when we sold that home in 2014. She brings a strong work ethic and customer focus in support of her clients. In 2004, we were moving from California to New Jersey with two young children and had 4 days to find a home. She had scouted over 25 properties and was able to quickly move us through a process to narrow these down to a handful that would meet our needs. We maximized our time viewing these and came to a decision to purchase on the second day. Debbie represented us every step of the way and was invaluable as we were preparing for the move from California.
When we sold the same property 10 years later we asked Debbie to be our listing agent. She developed a comprehensive marketing plan for the property. Using the newest technology, she created a web video that highlighted our home’s attributes. Over 25 people viewed the home during the three days it was on the market, including a Saturday open house she hosted. We had three full price offers to review on the fourth day. The selling price was the highest ever for our model in our community. She represented us throughout the closing process and brought the sale to a speedy and issue-free conclusion.
We would strongly recommend Debbie to anyone looking for a consummate professional who has her clients’ interests as her top priority.

Debbie is an encyclopedia. She knows the greater Princeton area extremely well. She has answers off the top of her head to almost all of my questions on builders, communities, schools, contractors, etc. She is still my go-to person even after we closed on the house.
Thanks to her, we found our house within the first month of our search. She probably knew from our first meeting what was the best option for us. Her knowledge helped us to narrow down our choices fast.
Debbie is very knowledgable and thorough in her job. She goes above and beyond to research and find out the details behind every property that she finds for her buyers. As our selling agent, she did a fabulous job in helping us set up our townhouse for showings in a very elegant manner. We followed all the tips and guidance that she provided us which helped us find a buyer in less than a month that our townhouse was listed on the market. We found Debbie to be a very hard working person, sending us listings as soon as they appear on the market and accomodating us into her schedule to show them. Debbie was very supportive and helped us through every stage of selling our townhouse and buying our new home which we are very happy in.
Debbie was a great realtor for my husband and I. She sold our townhouse in Princeton and diligently worked with us until we found the perfect house to fit our growing family in the same area. Her knowledge and expertise of the local area schools and various neighborhoods was very impressive. In this slower market, she went above and beyond to sell our home in less than a week and for slightly above asking price! She also found us the perfect home that that we absolutely love. I definitely recommend Debbie to any customer looking to sell or buy a home.
I wanted to find a house where I could spend my retirement years and still feel part of a community. Debbie took me all over the Princeton area explaining the opportunities for social connections and resources available in each different type of housing and community. Once I indicated the areas I liked, Debbie located houses that met my criteria for style and price. I decided on a house and Debbie had to really begin to work for me as the dealing was not easy. She negotiated the price I wanted and fought for a reasonable closing date.
During the month before closing with the inspection and other tasks that had to be done, Debbie took a personal interest to see that everything happened on time so we could be ready by closing date. This included connecting me to people and companies who could help me have the house ready. She did all this with positive energy and a full commitment to me.
Since moving into my new home, Debbie has helped me network, make new friends and, best of all, become a personal friend. I have been buying houses for more than 40 years and have found it a rare occasion to have as helpful and pleasant an experience from a real estate agent. This was a trying and emotional move for me and I can never thank Debbie enough for her caring about all the details and for finding exactly what I wanted in a new home. I love it!
Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $450K in Monmouth Junction, NJ.
We felt like Debbie paid a lot of lip service to how much she cares about her clients but clearly didn't pay attention to the answers we provided to her questions and constantly asked us for the same information over and over again. Moreover, she recommended a listing price well above market value and then pressured us to accept the first offer that came in $40K below listing.
In terms of local knowledge, Debbie claimed to know the area like the back of her hand, in part because she lives there. She also claimed to be very familiar with our neighborhood, having helped buyers look at homes there before. However, after she hosted a broker's open house, she reported back to us that several other brokers told her they would never recommend our neighborhood to their clients because it appears to be a flood zone (despite the fact that the township said it was not). If she's such a local expert, why were the other agents informing her of this?
Finally, Debbie was simply inconsiderate with our time. She called us on the day before the Superbowl and asked if she could hold an open house the next morning. This was also after an overnight snowstorm. We were annoyed that she didn't give us more advance notice and that she didn't seem to have a grasp on the fact that a last minute open house on Superbowl Sunday after a snowstorm would probably fail and be a waste of our time. Additionally, Debbie was at least 15 minutes late to every meeting we ever had with her. In fact, she was late to the first open house she hosted. We had left our house 10 minutes before the 1 p.m. start time and noticed cars parked on the road, waiting to check out the house. We were concerned that she wasn't there at the point we were leaving, but trusted she would show up shortly. We received a phone call from her 10 minutes after the open house was supposed to begin and she told us she was running late.
We just didn't feel like a priority to Debbie once we signed with her.

We have great experience with Debbie. She is absolutely one of the best realtors we have ever had. Debbie is just amazing. She always does things for the best interest of her clients. In our case, in current very difficult housing market condition, she was not only able to first quickly find a wonderful tenant for our house and actually quickly found a solid buyer for us at basically the asking price. She works very professionally and passionately. For example, she even brought many of her own decoration things to help us to stage our house. Debbie has been working in real estate business for more that 20 years with extensive experience of working with all kinds of people from all the places around world. She knows how to communicate to get deal done. We are so glad we have her help to get our house on the contract in very short time. We really appreciate her from the bottom of our heart. After this experience with Debbie, We feel that she is not just a great real estate professional, in the meantime she is also a good friend who we love.
Debra sold our home in Princeton for considerably higher than list price. 30% higher than the same floor plan with a finished basement 2 doors down had sold for just a month earlier. My husband and I left town over the weekend, Sunday evening she called to tell us she was holding 3 offers - all over asking price. Needless to say, we were surprised and thrilled.
She handled the escrow process with skill. We could not have imagined an easier sale and move. She's passionate about her work, is extremely knowledgable, and committed to her clients.

Debbie did a superb job in helping us with our 1st home purchase. She was extremely helpful with the process as we were "property virgins" and she was very knowledgeable about the business. She put as us at ease with her guiding presence throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend her as a realtor.
