Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $450k in Sunnyvale, CA.

Summary:

Deborah is a Certified Distressed Property Expert serving the San Ramon/Pleasanton/Fremont areas in East Bay and she helped me buy a home in Sunnyvale at the end of 2011. I first got to know her through a loan agent whom I initially talked to nearly two years ago when I started looking for a home in the south bay area. I primarily used Redfin to search and monitor property listings on the market and once I wanted to see a particular one that I likely wanted to make an offer, I made an appointment with Deborah to show the home. Most of the time, Deborah's responses were swift and the next day I was able to see the home. I appreciated her responsiveness and patience especially considering she had to drive 50 minutes from her home or office to the locations I wanted to see. I was impressed with Deborah's professionalism and expert knowledge as demonstrated in the transaction executing process. I was overall quite satisfied with her service in the process and I would recommend Deborah being your serious consideration when you decide to buy a home in the bay area, especially in the East Bay.More Less

Summary:

Pros: Respond to your phone calls on time.

Cons: She will ask you to sign an exclusive agency agreement without revealing details, which will prevent you from using any other agent except her. She is not very experienced in assessing the quality and value of a house.

Sold a Multi Family home in 2011 for approximately $475k in Union City, CA.

Summary:

Deborah helped us to both sell our townhouse and buy our new house. Throughout the process we appreciated Deborah's professionalism and prompt availability. Because of her attention to detail we were able to sell our townhouse in 3 days - from the day of our first meeting to the day we accepted the offer. She knew how to market our property to stand out from the rest. By suggesting a staging consultant, taking the right pictures, highlighting the best features of the property - these were key in getting a quick sale even in a down market. Deborah also showed tremendous patience in the 3 years it took us to buy our new house. Throughout the period she was promptly available to show us listings and answer our questions.
