Mission Statement:
My knowledge, integrity, and personal service all working for you!
Debra has been actively working as an advocate for her Eastside clients since 1987. Recognized for her depth of knowledge, level of personal service, and integrity, she has developed a strong past client and referral base. Having worked in many types of real estate markets over her20 year career, Debra is a strong negotiator and is able to get the best for her clients. Debra was chosen by her colleagues to be a member of Forum XXII, the premier networking group of top Realtors on the Eastside.
Debra takes care of everything for you
Debra is meticulous in her attention to details before, during, and after her clients move. Because of her years of experience, she is able to anticipate problems, providing a smooth experience during the marketing and sales process. Her style is very "hands-on" as she is in constant communication with her clients. After the sale, she is available to clients who have questions from home remodeling and contractors to current market values. With this client centered philosophy, she views her clientele as clients for life and is always available to pass on information and her clients the answers.
Working as your buyer advocate
Debra sells homes to many people moving to the Eastside's "technology belt" in the Bellevue/Kirkland/Redmond/Bothell area, particularly around the Microsoft campus (over 200) homes. When working with buyers, Debra utilizes her years of training as a counselor to advise her clients regarding market conditions. Buyers will know whether it is a buyers’ or sellers’ market. Buyers will know what to expect in the marketplace and will understand the competition. She identifies buyers’ wants and needs and matches the buyer to the best homes available. She is proactive in the search for the best home for her buyers. Debra is known for beating out the competition and getting her buyers the home when her buyer is in a muliple offer situation.
Working as your seller advocate
Debra begins working for her sellers before their homes go on the market. Knowing what buyers look for in a home, she helps her sellers stage their homes to get top dollar. Debra will know the competition so her sellers do not leave money on the table when pricing their home. Debra develops an individual marketing campaign to sell the “emotion” and the “sizzle” of each home to the buying public. Her marketing highlights the lifestyle, ambiance, and benefits of each home. She represents your interests as a seller, and commits to providing you with a smooth, worry-free transaction. Utilizing the latest technology, her advertising targets the buyers most likely to buy the home. Utilizing quality marketing materials, her listings become memorable to the buyers. In fact, many of the people who have bought her listings call her to market their homes when they decide to move. These buyers remember the positive impact of Debra’s marketing when they purchased their home. Debra's goal is to help you reach your goals!
About Debra:
I'm a native of New England, born and raised in Connecticut. I graduated from Clark University in Worcester, MA with a degree in History and English, and then received a master's degree in counseling from Northeastern University in Boston. I taught middle school and then became a guidance counselor in a Boston suburb. I had a great time working with adolescents, you know, the fun years of ages 12-14! If I could be successful at that, I know I can handle anything!
When I moved to Seattle in 1986, as a result of a corporate move with a large high-tech company, I entered the real estate profession. I made this career change to utilize my counseling experience to help people make smart decisions when moving. I have been working for Windermere Real Estate ever since! I am a member of both the Council of Residential Specialists (CRS) and the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI).
Being in the top 5% of Realtors in Windermere Real Estate/East, Inc., I am surrounded by hard-working agents. This gives me the opportunity to network and promote your home to top Realtors every day.
I'm very thorough and detail oriented, traits I share with my software engineer husband. We live in Kirkland, on the Eastside, with our dog. I enjoy film, theater and dining out. We've got outstanding theater groups, restaurants and art galleries in the area. My great love is to travel. Fortunately Seattle is located near many great places to visit. Seattle is a wonderful place to live with islands, mountains, lakes, and national parks close by.
