We recently relocated to another state. The relocation company sent Denise and only one other realtor for us to choose from, and we chose her. We listened to her talk about the value of our home and how much more it should sell for, and quickly. We heard her talk about her staging, which was important to us since the house would be empty. We were impressed as she talked about her "team" and how they would all be working for us. We were concerned about selling a home over the holidays, and were quickly assured that there was plenty of business in our area over the holidays. We finally closed on our house on the day Denise's contract expired. Selling price was $40,000 less than what she listed it for, based on her knowledge of the area and what the market was like. And it was our next-door neighbors who found the buyer for us, not our realtor. It took two months and a call to the office manager to be added to an email alert list for when our house was being shown. It took just as long to "stage" the house. At first, two couches and two teacups were the extent of it. Not what we expected, and not worthwhile. It's been three weeks since the closing, and we haven't heard a thing from her. No "thank you" for your business as she cashed her commission check, no congratulations. Denise Payne has done nothing to make me want to recommend her services to anyone.
