My name is Colleen and I have lived in Hunterdon County for 10 years. I bought my home here with the assistance of Don Sherblom. I consider myself to be fairly experienced with Real Estate transactions having bought and sold several times over the past 2o years. It is never easy for a lot of reasons, but one way you can definately make it easier is by choosing an agent with a lot of expereince and professionalism.
Don Sherblom has these qualities, to be sure, but he also has something that not many agents have--the ability to negotiate when conflicts arise, which they often do at some point during the transaction. It is during these times that you need to be able to trust that your agent is going to look out for you and facilitate communication. This is Don's strong point in my opinion, although I have been equally impressed with the way my home was photographed and marketed. My most recent move was successful because of Don's unique ability to close the deal. As stressed out as I found myself at times, I never doubted Don Sherblom's ability to keep everyone focused by reaching out to Mortgage Brokers, other agents, lawyers and of course the buyers and sellers involved, to always be sure that everyone was on the same page--not always an easy thing to do--at all.
I would urge first- time home buyers and sellers, and even those, like myself who think they know what it takes to get a home bought and sold successfully, to trust the deal to Don. We sold our house with Don, and also purchased another one. I can't imagine any way that Don could have been better! He is the gold standard for real estate agents to live up to.

Don is an excellent Realtor. He is very responsive and always has time for his clients regardless of how busy he is. We were truly impressed working with him. He helped us sell our home within a couple of weeks of it being listed and that is no small feet in this market!
