Bought a Multi Family home in 2014 for approximately $150K in North Delaware, Buffalo, NY.
Don was extremely helpful to us during our search for a house. He was always available to look at houses or answer our questions. He wasn't about just getting a sale like some realtors are. He was very knowledgable about all aspects of the house which made me very comfortable in listening to his advice. Don not only tried to find us a quality home, but a quality home that was right for us.
Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $125K in Amherst, NY.
As this was my first experience with purchasing a home, I don't have a large frame of reference to compare to. However, we will absolutely go back to Mr. Zappia the next time we're looking to buy or sell a home, and here is why:
He guided my wife and I through every step of the process. Every question that we had, (and there were many) he answered in a thorough way. Don made sure that we were clear about everything and he was never pushy. I also cannot stress enough that Don's lines of communication were AMAZING. On the rare occasion that he didn't answer his phone, he would call back within minutes. He would text message answers to questions and give us updates throughout the process, even on weekends and evenings. Don sped up this process exponentially because he would email us documents, go over everything on the phone with us, then we would sign, scan and email everything back to him. My wife and I were very impressed with how convenient he made this process by utilizing today's available technology. We highly recommend Don Zappia to anyone who wants a timely, streamlined and professional home buying experience.
Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $300K in Hamburg, NY.
I met Don after previously listing my home with another realtor. I posed a lot of questions to Don regarding feedback I had received regarding my home. He provided many insightful ideas that I believed resulted in greater interest and a quick sale of my home at the price I was hoping for. Don remained in continuous contact with me. I truly felt his personality and expertise made a significant difference. I would highly recommend Don to anyone looking for a top-notch realtor. He was great to work with!!

Donald Zappia is a true professional. I contacted him by email, and had a return phone call within 5 minutes, truly impressive! He is extremely knowlegdable and is an agent you can truly trust to be on your side. I highly recommend him and will be in contact with him in the future for any other dealings.
Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $125K in Lockport, NY.
I can't give Don high enough praises for the way he helped us out. From the first day he met with us we could tell he was in our corner. The little nuggets of information he could constantly feed us were invaluable.
Once we started deeply looking into homes, Don never stopped feeding us with new listings, most importantly he kept asking us what WE liked! It was never about selling a house, it was about making the right decision and enjoying the entire process.
We found the house we loved and from there Don worked his magic. He keeps in constant contact with you through phone calls, emails and whatever way was needed. He was the perfect liaison between us, the bank and the attorneys when we got to that point. It's been almost a month since we closed and we still have contact with him, just checking in to see if everything is OK. I couldn't ask for anything more out of a agent or more importantly a person. I would be glad to answer any questions about my experience at anytime. firstname.lastname@example.org
Horrible experience, did not know all the information, forget to file important documentation and after the sale found out her kenew the people that he sold us the house from. Do not recommend him, please do you research before choosing him, he does this as a part time job. Buying a house is an important decision you want someone full time on your side.

FYI, Most Real Estate agents work two jobs! Also as far as papers being filed that would be your attorney! Also we Negotiated the price together an if you remember I did know the people who own the house, I was the listing agent and my sign and name was in front of the house when we looked at it and up to the point that you moved in with my name and sold sign in front of the house. Together we work on finding you a home between the 70-90,000 range and looked at quite a few and place offers on a couple that we could not get done , do to price or owner unwilling to complete the deal. I am sorry you feel this way as we worked together in your search for a home for about 3-4 months why am I hearing this now?!! We shook hands as I handed you the key and you thank me for helping you and and where very excited to start moving in!! , I am confussed!!!
