Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $350K in Bordentown, NJ.
As recent sellers, we were so fortunate to find Doug Gibbons as an agent, especially after the ordeals we experienced with our prior agent.
In his presentation to acquire the listing we removed from our prior agent, Doug was honest and forthcoming. He did not use abrasive “hard sell” tactics. Doug respected our desire to make no decision on the spot. Choosing Doug Gibbons was the best decision we made. Our only regret is that we did not list with him initially! Doug is hard working and dependable. He responds immediately to phone and email messages—even when he is on vacation! Unlike our previous agent who tried to “bully” us into accepting low-ball offers, Doug never compromised our best interests for the sake of his commission. He truly worked with us as a “team” to achieve the common goal of selling our home. As a result, the transaction went smoothly and the transition was seamless.
We have conducted many real estate transactions through the years on our own behalf and for family members. Never have we felt satisfied with the services provided by the real estate agents we used—until we worked with Doug. Suffice to say, we highly recommend Doug Gibbons. Doug is truly a professional real estate agent who provides exemplary service. Unlike many agents who just work to accumulate listings, Doug serves the needs of buyers as well.

Bought a Condo home in 2011 in Ewing, NJ.
Being a new home owner, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. After reaching out to Doug, that all changed. Doug was more than willing to answer any question I had, is extremely knowledgeable, hard working, always available, trustworthy, and a quality that I found extremely comforting in being new to home ownership is his considerate nature in listening to what I was looking for and throwing out suggestions rather than pushing me into looking into something I was not interested in. I have been in my home three months now, and couldn't be happier. When the time comes to look for a new spot to rest my head, Doug will be getting the call.

Sold a Single Family home in 2011 in Columbus, NJ.
Doug Gibbons was the most efficient agent that we have used. He took pictures of our property and made a very complete showing of our home, on video and brochures. He was always there to answer any and all questions that we had for him, and responded with quick replies. We had the utmost of confidence in his ability, and I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants an agent with the integrity and ethics that Doug has proven to have. We give Mr. Gibbons 5 stars.

Sold a home in 2010.
Despite current market conditions, Doug was able to help us to list and get our home under contract in less than 3 weeks! This enabled us to put in an offer on our new home and engage in swift negotionations. When all was said and done, we were listed, under contract with both homes, and closed in less than two months! To top it off, we even got $100 over our asking price. True story! Watching Doug in action, he exercised ethical practice and truly looked out for our best interest by advocating and going to bat for us when needed. Doug was very familiar with the neighborhood and market in our old neighborhood but was new to our new neighborhood. However, he quickly became acqainted with the trends and lay of the land to give us the big picture. We would highly recommend his services.

Professional, patient and well versed in real estate matters. It was my pleasure working along with Doug in search of my most recent acquistion. It's easy to give great marks, but Doug deserves it. Doug is a true professional when it comes to assisting in the purchasing (for me) of a home. When Doug was recommended to me by a friend, and we met for the first time, he immediately put me at ease with his friendship-first approach as an agent. He said from the beginning-"relationships first, and the real estate will come." And it did!

Doug is a very knowledgeable and helpful realtor. He listens very well to what you need, and acts accordingly. He is very respectful, patient, and provides you with all of your options and things that you should consider in a clear and easy to understand manner. He definitely puts the values and interests of his clients first in everything that he does. My wife and I would highly recommend Doug to anyone who is even considering any type of a real estate transaction. In fact, that is exactly what we do whenever anyone that we know mentions something about possibly buying or selling a home, because we know that they'll be in very good hands.
He ensured, we never rushed into our decisions, and kept sending us comparative sales in the area. He was always there for us at every step and we hope to keep up the good friendship we developed with him. We could not have imagined going through this process with any one else other than Doug.
