Bought a home in 2012 in Ashcroft, Snowmass Village, CO 81611.

I was introduced to Doug by several different sources after I began inquiring as to who I should use to purchase a property in Aspen. Everyone I spoke to recommended Doug so it was an easy to choice to make. I then had the opportunity to see him in action and in the process, get to know him as a person. I have bought more real estate than I care to admit and have worked with a great number of real estate agents. Without question (and it isn't even close), Doug is the best I have ever seen. He starts from the standpoint of knowledge. Having worked in the area for a long time, he knows it as well as anyone. Second, he is very data driven and supports his market view with fact upon fact. Finally, he knows who he is working for (in my case, the buyer). He isn't driven to "close" a deal but rather motivated to find the right property for his client at a price his client feels comfortable paying. We tried to buy a couple properites prior to being successful and I never for a moment felt any pressure to do anything other than what made me feel at ease. He is the BEST!  More Less

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $5.325M in Aspen, CO.

He negotiated a difficult deal that wouldn't have closed with most agents. Closing was his only goal, and he made it happen. He knew the area and the players because of his experience in the market. He stuck with my maximum price and never wavered, even though he knew that price might have been too low.  More Less
