We don't have a separate property type for "Vacant Land", but it's on our list of additions to the site that we want to make later this year. Right now, you can't specifically search for vacant land on Zillow - but there are vacant lots advertised.
Yes, Zillow is free. We ask for a credit card as a way of proving that you are the true owner of a home. Your credit card will not be charged. To verify the card, we process an authorization which places $1 on a hold (like they do when you check into a hotel). That hold is then automatically released by your bank.
gordo-We actually do display how many times a home details page has been viewed. It's at the bottom of the home details page.To read more about the feature, please read this post on Zillow Blog - http://www.zillowblog.com/how-many-people-are-checking-out-your-home/2007/02/
muscleman-Please take a look at this thread -- http://www.zillow.com/forum/site/ViewThread.htm?tid=541Your credit card was not charged - Zillow just verifies that the credit card is valid. If the $1 charges end up on your monthly statement, please let us know and we'll correct the situation.
