Bought a Condo home in 2011 for approximately $150K in Greenbelt, MD.
As first-time buyers new to the area, we required a lot of help locating and purchasing a home within budget that truly met our needs. To make matters more challenging, we also needed to complete the entire process - from searching to moving in - within two months. Dylan Hanna was the perfect person to assist us in meeting these goals. Always, professional, punctual and patient, he listened carefully to our requirements and moved quickly without cutting corners to help us buy the perfect place.
Dylan proved to be extremely knowledgeable on everything from Maryland real estate procedures and local neighborhoods to the quickest pathway to closing on our home. His expert advice really put our minds at ease and more than once helped keep us on track. He is a first-rate real estate agent, and we strongly recommend Dylan to anyone looking for highly professional yet also practical and efficient help navigating through the process of buying or selling a home.
Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $300K in College Park, MD.
Dylan has helped me to find a single family home in what seems to be a seller's market. The one I ended up getting was actually the best amoung thouse we saw. Dylan knows the area and local market and its issues, he was also very fast in preparing the offers and other paperwork in crucial times, also very responsive.

Dylan Hanna was the ideal agent to work with for this first-time home buyer. He took the time to sit down with me and my husband on several occasions about what it was we were really looking for and was very patient with us as we navigated the whole overwhelming process. In less than six weeks, we found something we wanted to act on, and placed our first bid and won, thanks to Dylan's swift and aggressive negotiating. He knows a lot about Hyattsville first-hand and was able to answer all of our questions about the area. More importantly, he found us just the right-sized home within our budget and in the ideal neighborhood. It was a seamless process, start to finish, and Dylan handled it all with a smile.

My fiancé and I contacted Dylan at the (glowing!) recommendation of two friends who had recently purchased a home in Hyattsville. While this was said fiancé's fourth home-buying experience, I was completely green on the subject and had never so much as spoken with a realtor before.
From opposite ends of this spectrum, we agree that Dylan is absolutely top-notch from both a professional and a personal standpoint. As a first-time home-buyer, it was very reassuring to work with someone so knowledgeable in their field. He was extremely patient when it came to walking us through the process (and answering my multitude of questions!) and was always available to take our calls, however odd the hour. His attentiveness and turn-around on time-sensitive documents was crazy-fast, which - given our particularly "quirky" home-buying experience (foreclosures! woo!) - was critical to finally landing our dream home.
In particular, what stood out most about Dylan was his integrity and obvious committment to our happiness. Closing a sale, getting his commission, etc...this was all secondary to helping us find the right home. At no point did we feel pressured, rushed or misled. He's definitely a stand-up kind of guy and we cannot recommend him highly enough.

A few months ago Dylan helped my wife and me buy our first home. I think I can safely say that we were both very satisfied with Dylan's service, with the amount we paid, and with the house itself. In fact, we're experiencing reverse buyer's remorse; we're happier with the house each day that we're in it.
One of Dylan's greatest strengths as an agent is simply that he is a professional. He lives and breathes real estate, seemingly every day of the year. We only began to realize how important that experience was when we got deeper into the treacherous process of actually making an offer on a foreclosure (much trickier than we expected). He was always able to predict when we should expect a response, how long inspection results would take, when our offer was strong enough and we shouldn't go higher, etc.
Then there are his more intangible qualities, such as the fact that when a babysitter bailed on us he kept our 2-year-old happy playing on the floor for several hours at settlement time so that we could focus on understanding what our lawyer was saying and the documents we were signing. It all added up to a full service agent who got us into the house we wanted at a very, very good price. Highly recommended!

Dylan helped my wife and I buy our first home. With our very first meeting, Dylan put us at ease. He was a wealth of information at every turn. He patiently explained everything from how to prepare to apply for our first mortgage to how to make our first offer. Dylan walked us through the complicated ins and outs of foreclosures, short sales and estate sales in terms we could easily understand. He did this all without us ever feeling pressured. Dylan took the time to show us multiple listings and pointed out details that we missed, both good and bad, that had a huge impact on our final decision. It was clear to us that it was far more important to Dylan that we take the time to find the right house for us. We never felt that he was motivated by a quick turnaround or his commission. His knowledge of the area, both the neighborhoods and the houses themselves was invaluable. Dylan was also an incredible advocate through the negotiation process. It was clear that he had our best interest at heart. We were so thrilled with our experience with Dylan that we recommended him with confidence to close friends of ours that were looking for their first home. They had an equally positive experience with Dylan.
I cannot recommend Dylan Hanna highly enough.
The real estate industry needs more professionals like Dylan Hanna.
Sold a Condo home in 2010 for approximately $475K in Adams Morgan, Washington, DC.
Dylan got my co-op apartment in Adams Morgan under contract by the end of the first weekend it was on the market. He put a lot of effort into marketing the property and that paid immediate dividends. He also got us a full-price offer, which was more than we were expecting, and got us the closing terms we wanted. We went to closing as scheduled without a hiccup. I know Dylan worked way harder behind the scenes than he let on to make this a smooth transaction for us, and our buyers and their agent. Dylan is one of the top agents in the region in my book. Wholeheartedly recommended.
Sold a Single Family home in 2008 for approximately $375K in Hyattsville, MD.
Dylan Hanna was absolutely wonderful and first-rate. Within two days after we first met to discuss the sale of our house, Dylan had photographers over to our place and set up a very impressive web listing. He was very knowledgeable about the local real estate market, including pricing and days on the market. I credit Dylan in large part with the speed with which our home sold and his expertise made both my husband and me feel very confident every step of the way. I really couldn't recommend him more highly.
Bought a Miscellaneous home in 2010 for approximately $250K in Hyattsville, MD.
Though I've not always been impressed with the service I've received from a number of the home real estate "experts" I've encountered in the past, Dylan was a welcome experience with a highly competent professional. I was looking for a deal, and we navigated short sales, foreclosures, and estate sales with ease, and never did I feel that a property was being "pushed" so he could collect his fee and be done with the process. Dylan understands that home buying is an investment, yes, but also an organic process that is very personal and something that should never be rushed for the sake of the close. In sum, Dylan is not only one of the more knowledgeable and skilled practitioners in the business, but someone who takes personal pride in representing his clients interests first and foremost. I certainly plan on using him in the future.
