Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $325K in Glastonbury, CT.

I can't tell you how thankful I am to Ed for helping me through the purchase of my new home. He was able to negotiate a contract dependent on the sale of my home which was a huge relief as the home I wanted to buy was perfect. When my own home wasn't selling and the realtor wanted me to keep dropping my price, he took the time to help me analyze the market to see where my house should be priced. Which resulted in me holding tight on the price - and selling. He guided me through the things I needed to do and provided me counsel and insight on the process when it came down to the inspections, etc. He was right there with me and helped guide me through what was important. He was able to negotiate with the seller to correct the issues that were brought up. I am also thankful for his insight re: the negotiations on my own sale. He saved me $1000 by giving me insight to an item under negotiation. I wish he could have been given commission from my own sale, he certainly deserved it for all his help and support. I can't say enough about the experience I had with Ed Sutton and his ability to reduce my stress throughout the process and educate me along the way.  More Less

We connected, but it did not work out. Looking in South Windsor, CT

Ed and I had several emails going back and forth to set up a date to view a home in South Windsor. The date and time was confirmed twice for when we were to meet to tour the home I had inquired about. He completely no showed for our appointment, never called, and never answered the phone when I called to inquire where he was. As a first time home buyer going to tour a home for the first time, my fiance and I were incredibly disappointed and downright disgusted with his lack of professionalism to follow through. He has made a such a terrible first impression on us that we have decided that we will not be doing business with Remax ever again and are telling all of our friends and coworkers the same. We were fortunate enough to be met by a Realtor from a different agency in the driveway who was showing the home to her clients. She and her clients thankfully allowed my fiance and I to view the property along with them. We have since decided to give our business to that agency.  More Less
