Sold a Single Family home in 2015 for approximately $375K in Loveland, OH.
Ellie has a lot of experience in Real Estate and does good market research. But she is overbooked and uses an assistant for most of the day to day interactions after the house is listed. I never did get the glossy flyers for potential buyers to take during showings which she touted in our initial meeting. Only ink jet printed flyers with errors on them. During the negotiation of the sale, I felt rushed to sell at what ever terms the buyer wanted. She did not seem to be willing to negotiate in our favor like agents I have used in the past. I have had much more attentive agents work for me in the past which is why I only give Ellie a fair rating.
Response from Ellie on 06/30/2015
This was a difficult sale &an unpleasant divorce & 1 party always seems to feel they aren't represented as well. Negotiations took place w/1 seller out of town for a funeral so there wasn't much time for discussions. I do all negotiations & dialog w/clients on a routine basis & did in this case. I successfully negotiated w/buyers who were extremely disappointed in the property condition at inspection, yet we still got this property closed. Minimal conversations took place w/my assistant, who also holds a real estate license. However, I do use an asst for admin tasks such as brochures. Delays in printing brochures occurred because sellers wanted color corrections of photos that they did themselves &files were not compatible. We sold before final brochures were printed. I would be happy to answer any more specific questions on this transaction & address any potential concerns personally. I would even refer to the buyer agent for more clarification, to confirm my comments here.

We could not have asked for a more knowledgable, personal and professional agent than what we got from Ellie. Not only does she know the area (and real estate in general) more than we thought possible, Ellie flat out gets the job done. After only a few hours together, we felt as if Ellie knew exactly what were looking for in a home and she fought toot and nail to find us what we were looking for. Ellie got us into our dream home, and we just could not be happier. If you are looking for a home in the Loveland area, and go with anyone other than Ellie, you're missing out.

Ellie has helped us buy or sell at least 5 houses over the past ten years. We love her and just can't say enough about the amazing level of service she provides. That's why we use her time and time again, and recommend her to everyone we know. You won't be disappointed.
Sold a home in 2014 in College Hill, North College Hill, OH 45224.
It was a pleasure to work with Ellie and her office on the sale of my dad's home. She was professional and caring; detail oriented and really guided me well thru a process I was clueless and emotionally unready for.
Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $200K in Cincinnati, OH.
Ellie and team was available and flexible any time of day to go and show houses. Ellie always gave honest feedback which was very important to us as first time home buyers. Through the negotiations process Ellie and Jennifer were always communicating with us; keeping us informed on what was happening and what the next step would be. Ellie is tenacious when working for her clients making sure they are 100% satisfied with their deal. Ellie and team is even helping us deal with a window company issue that was part of our home deal- 2 months after our closing and still representing us. I'm a client for life!!!

If you just want someone to sell your home you can pick any realtor but if you want someone to treat you like a friend who will walk you through the process step by step then you want Ellie Kowalchik.
There were multiple issues or possible stumbling blocks that arose as does with any home search/sale but Ellie was on top of or ahead of every one. We knew she had our best interest at hand and she was available every time we needed to contact her.
Ellie went above and beyond what we expected and ran circles around everyone else involved. Her unending list of resources to get questions answered in a fast manner is amazing.
If Keller Williams or any real estate agency for that matter wants to know how to increase their bottom line while making the consumer extremely happy then I would suggest you have people shadow Ellie or at least have her give seminars on how she does things. Simply put she was amazing.
We felt we gained more than a new home we feel we have gained a friend in Ellie and have recommended her to several of our friends.
Trust me if you want the best realtor in the tristate area then you need look no further than Ellie Kowalchik. If I could give her more than 5 stars I would.

Ellie is by far the best real estate agent we have ever dealt with. She made everything seamless for us. We contacted her with lots of questions throughout the process and she was prompt with her responses and always willing to help with whatever we needed. She never made us feel like we were taking too much of her time.
Ellie is extremely knowledgeable and gave us a sense of calm throughout the sale of our house and securing the home of our dreams.
I highly recommend her to anyone wanting to sell their home or buy a new home.

Primary point of contact: Cody Hartje
Although I had some contact with Ellie, I primarily worked with Cody Hartje, who is more of the buyer's agent and specializes in first-time homebuying.
Cody was fantastic. He was very responsive, knowledgable, and was able to answer any questions we had promptly and accurately. During the showing process he was flexible with our times, and very helpful in helping us narrow down what we liked and didn't like in each house, without being suggestive or pushy. He would offer valuable insights about certain features, and once he knew what we were looking for he gave great advice about attributes to look for and caveats to watch out for.
Once we submitted an offer, Cody was constantly giving us updates and working for us. He made sure that we had multiple quotes from multiple providers for every service we needed, and when we had a few issues arise in the home inspection, he had them handled very quickly and in a satisfactory manner. He made sure to explain every step of the process, and we never felt pressured to move forward unless we were completely comfortable with what we were doing.
We met Ellie at the walkthrough and she was very friendly and helpful, and guided us through the closing process. I would highly recommend Ellie and Cody to any homebuyer and, given the level of professionalism and courtesy the displayed, any seller as well.
What a great experience. Thank you Ellie and Cody!
