Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $450K in Ellicott City, MD.
Ellie McIntire & her entire team made our home buying experience not only enjoyable, but painless and lucrative.
Our first meeting was to find out what we were REALLY looking for, which was a journey of self discovery. Many things we did not even consider. Ellie took the time to only take us to homes that matched our criteria, which saved us a ton of time. We were torn between 3 great homes.
One of her biggest strengths is her ability to negotiate. We were actually prepared to pay a lot more for the house we ultimately selected, but we were very VERY happy with all of the terms above and beyond our expectations. I think we almost felt sorry for the sellers as they had a very weak agent working for them.
We love our new home and we refer Ellie and her team to all of our friends.
Ellie was the seller's agent for the house we bought . Although we did not interact directly, Ellie has retained contact with us and I will surely look her team up when we are into buying or selling any real estate next time.
Listen -- Ellie is amazing. Of course, she has all the tools that any good realtor has (and she lists them in her Zillow bio). But what makes her stand out from other good realtors is her instincts. My mom is ha been a realtor for 25 years, so I'm familiar enough with the industry to know it when I see it. The best realtors instantly get to know their buyers as human beings and get a solid feel for what they want -- even when THEY don't know what they want. Those agents have a true talent to combine that "buyer's feel" with their knowledge of the local area. The result is a homebuying experience that feels...destined. Thanks to Ellie.
We contacted Ellie to shows us several properties we were interested in. She set up an appointment for us to see the properties but never showed up. I do not recommend her, she will waste your time. When you're in the market to buy, time is a valuable thing. Her schedule is not at all flexible and her ability to accommodate you does not seem high on her list.

Audrey I am very sorry that you feel this way, but I was very much in touch with you. When we spoke on Thursday I requested that you forward the pre approval from the lender that you planned to use. Via e-mail I requested the proof of funds three times. None of my e-mails were returned. Our meeting was never confirmed for Saturday, but I did call you twice on that day. The only number you provided to me was a home number. If our meeting had been confirmed we would have met in the office first. I was at the office from 9am till 1pm. I am a professional Realtor who takes pride in helping every buyer and seller that I am lucky to work with, but I also have a policy to be provided with proof of funds prior to showing a property. In light of the recent killing of a Realtor, safety is top on our priority list and that's why we meet you at the office first.
Sold a Single Family home in 2014 in Hollins Market, Baltimore, MD.
I contacted Ellie McIntire approximately 3 weeks ago. My purpose was to sell one house and purchase another. Ellie initially spoke aggressively and took all the pertinent information for the sale - That is the last conversation that I had with her. She began to text message me. She is not good about keeping commitments or abiding by timelines that she creates. I was supposed to meet her last Saturday, she simply did not show up or even call or text, just disappeared. Do not waste your time.
Bought a Multi Family home in 2014 for approximately $225K in Baltimore, MD.
I'm an action person and was very determined and focused on purchasing a new home. Ellie matched my determination and we got it done very quickly and efficiently. Ellie and her team are true professionals that have all the bases covered. It was easy and I've never been happier!
Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $775K in Davidsonville, MD.
Ellie and her entire team were very professional. They were knowledgeable and very flexible to work with our schedule. Ellie understood what we were looking for and helped us find the right home for us. She helped us find professionals to do all the inspections to give us peace of mind.
Listed, but didn't sell my Single Family home in 2014 in Baltimore, MD.
We interviewed Ellie to sell our home along with interviewing 2 other agents. Ellie's aggressive marketing plan was by far the most superior and intense. We gladly signed with her right away.
Not only did she do everything she said she would, but she did so much more as well. She accomodated our schedule, recommended contractors and even met them at our house. Our brochures were amazing, the open houses were frequent and well attended and we had 3 offers within 8 days. We accepted an offer with no contingencies over list price.....and $20,000 over the last house sold on the street that had more upgrades.
Thanks to the McIntire team we were on our way to Maine with no worries. We recommend Ellie and her team to EVERYONE.

It was a great pleasure to work with Catonsville Sellers such as yourselves who had taken such a pride in ownership throughout the home. I hope you are enjoying your new home.
We chose Ellie to list our house during the WORST winter in the history of winters in MD!
No problem though ... from the beginning, she had the plan and vision ... helping us prepare our home to get it in tip top shape to showcase it to it's best potential. Everything her staging person told us to do - we did. Her photographer and videographer (for the virtual tour) were amazing - the videographer should win some type of award since he really caught the essence of what made our home the warm and special place it is. I didn't think that either of them could have done a better job.
There were blocks of days that no one could get down our street to see the house if they wanted to due to storm after storm, but that was not a problem. Ellie scheduled well attended open houses, numerous private appointments, etc. From the date we listed to date the movers came for the furniture, it was just 2 months!
We were off enjoying the sun and fun in our temporary house in FL while house hunting for our new one without a worry about whether or not the MD house would sell in time.
We are closing on our new home on Friday and got a great contract due to the fact we didn't have a contingency (which would never have been accepted) and that our MD closing was signed, sealed and delivered.
We credit a seamless process to Ellie and the McIntire team. Thanks team!!
