I am dedicated to excellence. I strive to make communication the cornerstone of my business philosophy – listening and understanding my clients needs and interests in order to make them my own. Buying or selling a home is one of the most important decisions you'll make: we will work as a team to achieve your goals. Whether you are a first-time homebuyer making your first steps toward homeownership or an experienced homeowner hoping to sell your home in a tight market, I am dedicated to providing you with exceptional guidance in real estate.
Master Certified Negotiation Expert®
Professional negotiation skills are critical for all real estate brokers, especially in the current market. In 2011, I earned the Certified Negotiation Expert® designation. Professionals who receive this certification are in the top 1% of all agents nationally. Since then, I have undergone the extensive course training for certification as a Master Certified Negotiation Expert®, which includes negotiation expertise on behalf of buyers and sellers, as well as negotiating across generational and cultural differences. As an MCNE®, I provide my clients with a powerful competitive edge because of my ability to (1) communicate effectively to uncover more information, (2) help my clients understand their options, (3) work collaboratively with others, and (4) resolve deadlocks. As a professionally trained negotiator, I'm able to save my clients money, time, and heartache, by providing them with superior results and better resolutions.
My husband, daughter, and I live in the University District in a beautiful 1913 Craftsman home that we have been slowly updating ourselves. I am an active member of our neighborhood community, participating as a board member of the Roosevelt Neighbors' Alliance and as a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Parish. In our free time, we enjoy training our two German Shepherds in competitive dog sports. We also volunteer with Rebuilding Together and the John L. Scott Foundation for Seattle Children's Hospital. I am faculty on the UW Educational Outreach online correspondence program, teaching the course "Introduction to Eastern Religions."
