Emily is awesome! She was very In tune with our family needs and home buying expectations. Emily was very flexible with our schedule and amazingly responsive to our needs. Her local knowledge of the greater OKC area made our home buying experience enjoyable and educational. Every email and phone call was answered without hesitation from the moment that we started working with her all the way through the trials and tribulations of the closing process. Emily's professionalism and skill set are second to none. We give our highest recommendation.

Emily provided outstanding service to me from the moment we met. She listened to my needs and limitations and never pushed me to spend more or to settle for less than what I wanted. She was confident we would quickly find the right place and she was right! Even through a lender change and super fast close, she always had time for me and was proactive in getting things done with time to spare. She knows realty inside out, she'll impress you, too!

Emily was great to work with! She is super fun and easy to talk to and get to know. Willing to show you as many houses in as many areas as you need. I really enjoyed working with her and will use her services again if I need a realtor. She was willing to meet with us multiple times when potential issues came up and talk with the sellers and other agents and work out solutions for us.
First time home buyer. Didn't quite know what I wanted or what I could afford Emily was patient and kind. She showed me several places throughout a two month span. Finally the perfect home comes on to the market and Emily jumps on the opportunity and scheduled a showing. I fell in love and Emily started the paperwork that night.

She was very diligent publicizing my home as well as pursuing leads to find a buyer. She kept in close contact throughout the entire process, and was very straight forward about my situation. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $125K in Edmond, OK.
Definitely glad I contacted a Realtor to help me with purchasing a home. It was our first home buying experience and we knew we wanted to live in or around Edmond.
The only things I would even say bring down her rating at all is that after we mentioned we would consider areas around Edmond, it felt as though she stopped looking in Edmond itself (I had found the home we ended up buying on the list myself and brought it to her attention). Also, instead of starting at the original terms we had asked for on previous homes, she tended to offer what was the last offer we would offer on other homes (the ones that we didn't end up buying) which I didn't realize until after it was done.
However, she was very helpful when we had questions, she was willing to show us as many houses as we could see on weekends (which was when I was available), and she helped us find the best mortgage lender for our situation (Navy Federal Credit Union). On a different note, my 4-year old daughter LOVED Emily. She kept asking if she could go home with Emily, which says something since my daughter doesn't always get very excited with strangers.

Thank you for the honest review, Amy!
Prior to going under contract on the house you purchased, we wrote several offers on other homes, but were out-bid by other buyers. When we found the perfect house for you, we made a strong offer so we wouldn’t lose another one. This may be where some misinterpretation happened.
Many people expect to make a low offer, spend 2-3 days negotiating, then meet in the middle to sign the contract. However, in a seller's market the buyer doesn’t have the luxury to spend 2-3 days negotiating due to the potential to lose a great house to a higher offer. This is why we presented a strong first offer, while also achieving the ultimate goal of getting your closing costs covered. You were able to get the house you wanted, in the area you liked, at a good price, with a home warranty, and only had to bring a very small amount to closing.
I appreciate the feedback. I will work to improve my communication skills regarding the negotiations when buying a house.

Emily Mathews is extremely focused on getting people exactly what they come to her for. I contacted her office on a Saturday afternoon regarding purchasing a home and was receiving e-mails with properties to review within hours. She is polite, knowledgeable, very smart, and listens to her clients. When we looked at a prospective home she would find out exactly what about the home we liked and did not like so the next searches were more refined. The entire experience was pleasant, easy and she always was in touch and available not only to show us homes or answer questions, but she also helped solve issues that we had with obtaining information for our mortgage. She problem solves very well. I felt that we had someone in our corner with our best interests at heart. I highly recommend Emily.

Emily Mathews first contacted me when I was looking to purchase my first investment property in Oklahoma City. She went right to work and found a number of properties that matched my criteria. She was a consummate professional and helped me throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend her whether you're a first time home-buyer, or someone looking to invest in OKC. Cant wait to work with her again!
Emily made the transition for us seamless. She was on top of every detail at all times. If I needed anything at anytime, Emily was there. Emily, her staff and lenders made buying a home so incredibly easy, it would be foolish to look any further. If you don't use Emily as your realtor, you are making a huge mistake.

Emily made my first time home buying experience a smooth success. She was always available if I had a question and quick to book tours of the houses I wanted to view. She was very thorough in explaining the process and recommending lenders, as well as pointing things out (both good and bad) in the homes I was interested in. I definitely trusted Emily in helping me through this major step in life. Plus, Emily has a great personality and never made me feel rushed. We found a great little home in NW OKC and had closed and moved in by the end of the month!
