Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $700K in American University Park, Washington, DC.
Carlos Garcia and his colleagues at Eng Garcia Properties are consummate professionals. The Eng Garcia group handled both my home purchase in 2007 and my home sale in 2012. Throughout both processes, I always felt that I was in eminently capable hands – and I was wholly satisfied in both instances with the results achieved by Eng Garcia. Carlos has an extremely impressive knowledge of the DC Metro Area housing market, and he guided me in my real estate transactions not only with great skill and professionalism, but also with great personal touch. Eng Garcia is a class outfit, and I would recommend Carlos’s team to anyone considering a home sale or purchase.

Sold a home in 2009.
After having kids we knew we needed to move but we did not know where. Carlos and the Eng Garcia team worked extensively with me across many regions to find the right location and house. We viewed homes in MD, VA and DC. Because this was an important decision I took my time to ensure I found the right place to raise our kids and a place we could call home for many years to come. Carlos and his team working effortlessly through the entire process and I found my dream home. Afterwards Carlos and his team listed and sold my first home before the open house! I would not hesitate to refer anyone to Carlos and the Eng Garcia team for buying or selling.

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $1.025M in Capitol Hill, Washington, DC.
Choosing Seth Turner as our realtor with Eng Garcia Properties was critical to our ultimately very successful house-hunt. We chose Seth after interviewing with several other area realtors and can’t recommend him highly enough. His market insight, professional judgment, and personality are all beyond superlative.

Seth took the time to listen to our wants, evaluate our means, and help frame our expectations for buying our first home. As we navigated an extremely tight Capitol Hill housing market—where inventories stood at a 7-year low, rationally priced properties moved within days of listing and overpriced ones languished for months—Seth was instrumental in helping us stay level-headed.

He counseled patience when the owner of the first house we fell in love with and made an offer on was unwilling to budge on an unrealistic list price. He helped us stay enthusiastic when we saw a string of lackluster properties. And ultimately, he helped us snatch up a stunning house on Lincoln Park within four days of listing, during an intense bidding war that erupted before the open house even occurred. If it hadn’t been for his guidance on selecting a lender, pricing our bid and escalator clause, and negotiating other terms of the offer, I’m certain we would not have gotten the house.

His knowledge and guidance throughout the inspection and closing processes was similarly indispensable. Everything from signing the offer through getting the keys in our hands went smoothly, with Seth anticipating and resolving issues before we were ever aware of them.

In short, we will be recommending Seth and the rest of his Eng Garcia team to all of our friends and family in the future.

Bought a Single Family home in 2010 for approximately $900K in Lyon Park, Arlington, VA.
Carlos was recommended to us, and we continue to recommend him to all our friends. He has a vast understanding of the Washington Metro market; he has great relationships with his colleagues in the industry; he is very friendly, extremely responsive, and aggressive for your interests (consummate negotiator). He also has a great staff.

Case in point: Carlos found our house. He encouraged us to check it out though it was slightly out of our price range (but exactly what we wanted, in the neighborhood we wanted). He was open-minded and told us not to take it off the table and said he would have a conversation to see where the builder was. It was that openness, great negotiating skills, and creativity that has us in a house we truly love.

Bought a home in 2010.
I’m delighted to offer this very strong review of Carlos Garcia and his team. I worked with Eng Garcia to buy my first house and felt very supported throughout the process. Carlos and his team were incredibly accessible, knowledgeable, and friendly. They had a strong sense for both the market and my interests as a buyer. I have referred Carlos to everyone I know buying a home in the Washington, D.C. area!

Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $1.4M in Chevy Chase, Washington, DC.
Carlos and Lucinda are true pros and have a good team behind him. They handled both my sale and the purchase of a new house. They were very helpful getting my house ready for sale (repairs and staging) and they marketed it aggressively, resulting in a sale over list price. They were also a big help with negotiating and structuring my purchase of a new house. Overall, I’d definitely recommend them.

Carlos and his team are extremely detail-oriented and provided the time and attention we needed to find and close on our home. They are easy to work with and amazingly responsive regardless of whether the inquiry is time sensitive.

Carlos will be our first phone call when we need a realtor in the future.

Carlos and his team were the ultimate professionals. They beautifully staged our condo and got the word out about it being on the market. We had 3 competing offers within 6 days. We were extremely pleased with the experience and will use Carlos and his team to buy our next place.

Bought a Multi Family home in 2012 in Forest Hills, Washington, DC.
I was trying to buy a condo or co-op in DC and I tried two real estate agents who simply did not respond fast enough. After an internet search I found Carlos and took a chance that the online reviews were accurate. He did a nice job. He knows the market, works with knowledgable people (loan officers, inspectors, etc), and has a great support staff who arranged for me to see the property multiple times. The whole process went smoothly and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Sold a home in 2012.
I was currently living overseas when I decided to renovate and sell my place in DC. I chose Carlos after recommendations by other real estate professionals. His team did not let me down. Carlos had an answer for every hiccup and roadblock that came along the way in selling my property. And oh by the way, he sold my house for more than what I expected to get in this market in a short period of time.

I can't put enough emphasis on how important it is to find the right real estate agent in a complicated situation such as mine. I got lucky with finding Carlos and his team.
