Kevin is a real estate Broker in Washington, DC and the state of Maryland. He is also a licensed salesperson in the state of Virginia.
Kevin first got a taste of the real estate industry in the spring of 2008 while interning for the Mayor of Cincinnati during his senior year of college. As the first economic development intern in the office, he was responsible for several economic development initiatives including assisting the city in their preparation for the real estate industry''s largest annual conference, the International Council of Shopping Centers held in Las Vegas, NV. Because of his outstanding work, he was invited to travel with city representatives, including the Mayor, to Las Vegas to attend the conference. He participated in meetings and negotiations as the city worked to complete its largest real estate development project in decades. The Banks Riverfront Development, which was slated to change the entire city''s riverfront landscape, was slated to be the largest mixed-use development in the Region.
Kevin has been a full time real estate professional since 2010. In October of 2011 he transitioned into his current role as Broker/Owner of Entrusted Development, LLC. Prior to starting Entrusted Development, he worked as a full time Research Associate for CoStar Group, the commercial real estate industry''s largest research and information company based in downtown Washington, D.C. In addition, he concurrently worked as a part-time real estate agent and also gained experience while doing property acquisitions for Walnut Street Development.
Kevin''s diverse experience and background has served him well in the real estate industry. Whether it was his undergraduate experience as past chapter President of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, Alpha Alpha chapter, or his experience overcoming language barriers while going to school in China, Kevin has learned hard work, determination, and expecting the unexpected are keys to success in life. This understanding has allowed him to serve his clients with the utmost in customer service and excellence while using a results driven approach. He has learned to overcome challenges and solve problems, and thus he strives to get real estate transactions through to the closing table regardless of chance and circumstance.
In his leisure time, Kevin enjoys reading, the outdoors, traveling, running, and being involved with various organizations. He is a member of Alfred Street Baptist Church in Alexandria, Virginia where he serves as the Vice President for the Prison and Jail Ministry and is involved with a number of other ministries throughout the year. Kevin has also been a member of the African American Real Estate Professionals Organization and the Urban Land Institute. He is currently sits on the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtor''s Grievance Committee and the District of Columbia Association of Realtor''s Public Policy Committee.
