Bought a Single Family home in 2012 in Houston, TX.
Evan was extremely awesome! I would personally recommend him to anyone who is in need of a realtor because he is very kind and patient. He would always answer my phone calls and emails in a timely matter. He was very professional and understanding as to what we wanted. Because of him we got the home of our dreams and more! Thanks Evan!

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $200K in Lake Houston, Houston, TX.
Evan Compean is hands down an amazing realtor. He was our third try at a realtor. After being unsatisfied with two realtors that were referred to us I found Evan through Yelp. I was a little nervous going with someone we didn’t know from anyone, but after being very disappointed with the previous two realtors I decided to trust the reviews on Evan. Boy and I’m glad I did!!! I truly hope my review can do Evan justice because he was that great!
Not only is Evan smart and knowledgeable but I never felt once he was in it for himself. He always made me feel like he was our number one advocate (which he was) and he cared we got the best deal possible. He truly wanted us to find the best house possible for the best deal available.
This being our first home purchase Evan walked us through every step of the way. Even after we closed on the home he was still there for us when we had questions. I’m sure he could have backed off during the loan process since his job was pretty much over, but he didn’t. He was there along side of us the whole way and even helped move the process along faster for us. He knows the business inside and out and made sure we were informed and protected. We had considered both building and buying a pre-owned home and Evan was incredibly knowledgeable in both areas.
While I’m sure we were not Evan’s only clients he made us feel like we were. He responds immediately to texts and emails and always answered our phone calls. To be honest, I always wondered how he did it. I don’t think he ever stops working. To top it all off, when we were with him I always felt like I had his undivided attention. He is extremely professional and great at his job!
I wish I had tons of people to recommend Evan to because I was so pleased with working with him. I know anyone who would choose to work with Evan would feel the same.

Sold a Condo home in 2012 in Houston, TX.
We have recently purchased our dream house with Evan's help and also have our old home listed with him as well. Evan has made the process completely painless. He helped us understand our options, was available on our schedule and even helped us locate financing. We could not have been nearly as successful with another realtor. We recommend Evan Compean to anyone who wants a professional, hard working realtor!

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $150K in Lake Houston, Houston, TX.
Evan isn't just a realtor... He is a great person that takes home buying experience personal. He's always been available since the beginning of our house search till the closing. Not only has he helped us purchase our new home but he is also helping us sell our previous one.
Our situation was a little challenging but he cheered us up throughout the entire process and never had a doubt about having something worked out.
This is the kind of realtor that is hard to find… His has passion for what he does and is very good at it.
I wouldn't just refer him to you but I would tell you that he is who you need to make your home search a great experience rather than a nightmare.
I don't even have enough words to thank him for his help, support and dedication.

Evan explained the process clearly; ensured paperwork was correct and used technology efficiently. He also negotiated effectively, exhibited attention to detail, represented and protected my interests. I never felt pressured to purchase a home. Found a tenant for a home.
Evan exceeds expectations in all areas. He goes above and beyond. Evan always keeps me informed of what is going on. He is low stress and no pressure. He always looks out for my best interest. He is very easy to talk to. In addition to his professionalism he is also extremely knowledgeable of the Houston market and continues to stay up to date with real estate trends. I highly recommend Evan and will continue to work with him.

To say that I am beyond thrilled with Evan Compean’s performance as my realtor would be an understatement. His integrity, professionalism, knowledge and work ethic impressed me to no end as he helped my husband and myself navigate the murky waters of first-time home buying with ease and grace. Yes, our closing was easy and graceful! How many people can say that?
I have heard the horror stories about lazy realtors who are non-responsive, disorganized, and who push their agenda despite the wants and needs of their clients. Evan Compean does not fall into this camp. Evan emailed to check in nearly every day of our home buying process. He quickly responded to questions late at night, early in the morning, and on Sunday afternoon. He kept abreast of things we didn’t know where problematic—paperwork issues that needed amended or collected from the seller of the house we purchased, for example. When our walkthrough the day before closing turned up several unaddressed issues (green pool, non functioning A/C, dishwasher issues) Evan kept a cool head mediating between ourselves and the seller; facilitated by Evan’s negotiation, the seller was able to turn things around in a matter of hours—not days, HOURS. Evan told me that he enjoys negotiating and problem solving and thank god for that. I would never have the patience to deal with the types of unpleasantries that can occur in between sellers and buyers in the home buying process.
Evan provided excellent lender recommendations, helping me to secure a better rate through a Texas broker than I was quoted through my national bank. He also saved me money by including a home warranty into our seller agreement and by finding credits that the mortgage company missed when they put together our paperwork.
I now consider Evan a friend and cannot wait to invite him to our housewarming this summer. Would I recommend Evan to others? Absolutely and without hesitation: yes.
