Our team focuses on 3 key areas:
1. Downsizing Seniors and Estates of Probate 2. First Time Buyers 3. Expired Sellers
We have a particular expertise in assisting families through the decision-making process when it comes to late-in-life transitions.  We are experts at:
A. Assessing homes for repairs/modifications for Aging in Place,  B. Modification/cleanout/repair of estates for value augmentation, C. Assisting seniors through the downsizing process, C. Purchase renovation assessment, and D. Marketing assessment and sales plan creation.
HOW DO WE DIFFERENTIATE OURSELVES?
There are many who consider themselves "experts" on the process of buying and selling - and the process itself is pretty straight-forward making being an expert on the process of little value.  Where we differentiate our business is expertise in market assessment (we educate our clients on how to interpret the market and the current dynamics that are moving the market) and property evaluation for long-term appreciation.
FOR SENIORS UNSURE ABOUT LATE IN LIFE TRANSITIONS
We work closely with your family and other senior-specific professionals, including licensed Occupational Therapists, to assess your home for Aging in Place modifications.  Our goal is to help you stay in your home comfortably and safely for as long as possible.   We also love the many stories that seniors have shared with us about their life experiences as it enriches our lives.
We do speak on senior-related topics for financial advisors, attorneys, accountants, health care professionals, and the general public including: Communication, Aging in Place for Independence, Downsizing, Home Assessment for Aging in Place or Downsizing, and Probate Real Estate.
WHY DID I GET INTO REAL ESTATE
My first buying and selling experiences as a consumer were awful.  I should really create a video on how bad it was because it's a good laugh... which I can say now with many years of perspective between then and now.  The individuals we worked with were nice enough people and they understood the paperwork process well.  The experience, itself - the interaction and advisement - were severely lacking.  My wife and I were simply dollar signs - a means to a paycheck.  There's too much on the line for that and consumers deserve more when one considers the size of the transaction when purchasing or selling a home.  Consumers don't want process experts - they want sales and service experts who understand the process and clear as many potholes along the road as possible to help them get what they want.
WHY I DO WHAT I DO
I feel fortunate to do what I do - teach and provide educated, professional guidance.  I've met a lot of good folks who started off nervous about the process... and about working together.  We taught them what we know to help build confidence in their own decisions... and we've had a lot of fun along the way.  Most importantly, I wanted to make a difference.  I had previously worked as a professional engineer and got tired of "cube-ville" and having limited control of the direction of my life.  I wanted to spend more time with my family and be more involved in my community.  I am appreciate of those who've worked with us - they've helped us to grow both professionally and personally - and we're appreciative of those we'll work with in the future.  To get up every day and have a chance to make a difference... how can I ask for anything more?

Sold a home in 2012.

Ryan always called potential home buyers right away and showed the property in a timely manner. My property was a very unique process and Ryan was very knowledgeable and had many resources to close the deal. He worked with my mortgage broker and closing attorneys very well. 5 Star Experience!

Thank you Ryan

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 in Raynham, MA.

We met Ryan early in our process. We were looking to cut our commute time and had a house to sell. Ryan helped us pick an agent more familiar with the location of our previous home. He helped us to understand the ins-and-outs and helped us avoid some properties that we liked but may have been tough to sell down the line. We ended up purchasing a new construction and he helped us negotiate some terms that we didn't even know were important - like making sure the builder was responsible for germination of the lawn and that the topcoat on our driveway needed to wait a year for everything to settle. He and his team were great to work with. We'd definitely recommend Ryan.  More Less

Sold a home in 2013.

We had been trying to sell our home on our own without a lot of luck. We hired Ryan to help out because the home was pretty unique. It had been in the family for a long time and had a lot of sentimental value. Ryan kept us informed about everything and handled some of the challenges that came up. When some of the negotiations got a little tough, Ryan helped us understand how to best handle them and when we ran into an issue with our septic Ryan took care of that, too. We were able to sell the house and join the rest of our family in AZ. Thanks, Ryan.  More Less
