Sold a home in 2011.
Sue and her staff sold two properties for us in the past two years in a very soft and difficult market. Both properties had problems and required extensive negotiation. In one case we were in Colorado and the sale had to handled by email. In both cases, Sue and her excellent staff did a wonderful job. We recommend her very highly and without any reservations.

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $350K in Trinidad, CA.
Buying a short sale home is not always easy. Being a real estate agent from another area, We were apprehensive at first. However,Sue and Sarah were very professional. Communication with us, the lender, and inspectors were great.
We were very satisfied with them. Well done.

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $525K in Arcata, CA.
Sue is smart, professional, responsive, and caring: all traits that are important during such important transactions. She explains things clearly and provides sound advice for which she explains her rationale. She is well connected locally so was able to answer our many questions about selling our home and buying a new one. She is open and honest and kept us informed about the status of multiple transactions as they were occurring. She's the best.

I recently bought a house in Trinidad where Sue Forbes was the listing agent. I found her to be the most professional real estate agent I've ever worked with. She was informed, efficient, fair, and a great communicator. I would recommend using her for buying or selling any house in Humboldt County, and especially around Trinidad.
Sue doesn't just sell your property. She works with you as a partner to position your property optimally to sell. She takes the hassle out of preparing your property for sale and as we were getting on with our life in OH, Sue took care of arranging painter, carpet installer and inspectors for us, sent us the bills and made sure the work was done economically and right.
