Gail's interests include birding, historic house restoration, community service, boating (1953 Lyman Islander!) and horseback riding. She manages a small farm, held by her family since 1838. She was featured in the spring 2012 issue of Audobon Magazine for her work in bird habitat restoration and recently returned from Haiti where she led a group doing humanitarian relief work in Leogane.
