You can edit your home location after you claim yourself as the property owner. There will be a link under the "tools" section of the left hand of the home info page. A map will be displayed and you can follow the instructions to correct the map location of your property. You cannot change the address once you post the listing.
In my previous experience, Yes! Not only is the market in decline and people are always reducing prices, you have to pay holding costs before your next offer comes around. And opportunity costs... what if the home you were moving up or down to sells while you're waiting? There are a lot of factors involved and it is ultimately up to the seller and buyer.
Kyle has great advice... get a market analysis from a local real estate agent or an appraisal from a licensed appraiser. But keep in mind that your home is worth how much a buyer is willing to pay for it and that number changes constantly.
There are lots of people in the same situation. I have been to several listing appointments lately where tears were flowing and people face reality. The honest answer is that none of your options are appealing. The options are loan modification, conventional sale / payoff difference with cash, short sale, deed in lieu of foreclosure, or foreclosure. A lot of people are just doing nothing. A local attorney with some experience in foreclosure or bankruptcy is your best resource - most will do a free consultation.
Hi, I moved to Florida about 10 years ago. I have lived at the beaches in Jacksonville / Ponte Vedra Beach / St. Augustine and am currently living in Gator Country in Gainesville. I don't think I will ever leave Florida because the weather is beautiful and the people are friendly. If interested in the east coast beaches or north central Florida, I'd be happy to give you more details and hook you up with a great agent.

people move for all kinds of reasons - maybe a job transfer? job promotion? job loss? want to be closer to family? new health concerns (stairs or climate)?
