I've been extremely blessed to have worked with Dan on several transactions over the years. He helped me get into my first home in Livermore in 1999. I then moved to SF and he helped me find a property manager so I could rent it out while away. Always going above and beyond his duties even after he sold me the home. Move forward a few years and Dan made it painless for me to sell the home in Livermore even while I was away from the area. It soon came time to buy another home in the Tri-Valley, I immediately went to Dan with his expertise in this area and he helped me find a beautiful home in Dublin Ranch in 2005. It's great to work with someone in this industry that has high ethical standards and integrity. Anyone that has the privilege to work with Dan is very fortunate.
Bought a Single Family home in 2009 for approximately $550K in Dublin, CA.
My wife and I were relocated to the Tri-valley area in 2009 where we met Dan at an open house. After talking with him, and not being able to get good service from the buyer's agent that was originally assigned for our relocation, we asked Dan to act as our buyer's agent. Our first agent's tactic was to take us to see 3 or 4 very poor condition or bad location houses and then the last house was in good shape, where within 15 minutes the "would you want to make an offer?" would be spoken. That pattern repeated itself and after the 4th weekend we were going to open houses ourselves, when we met Dan at a listing in Birdland in Pleasanton, a neighborhood our first agent never took us.
Dan gave us an excellent overview of the neighborhoods in the San Ramon, Dublin, Pleasanton area that we might be interested in buying. He spent time educating us about the area, some history, schools, development, all the things that you don't know if you didn't grow up here. His knowledge of the neighborhoods, when the houses were built and other things even like the soil conditions or the flood plain were instrumental in the decisions we made on a purchase.
The house floor layouts, what was original versus what was a remodel, options to change or move walls that he had seen before were all excellent pieces of information that Dan was able to provide when making house purchase decisions.
Dan really helped us narrow and focus our search in a small number of neighborhoods, and then it was a matter of time to watch for houses coming on market or back on market after finances fell through or deals fell apart before closing.
After finding an original older house in west Dublin that we have been updating to our likes, Dan made the negotiations, inspection and remainder of the process easy and smooth. I'd recommend Dan for his prompt service, honesty and knowledge of real estate in the area, and if/when we do finally need to sell, I'm calling Dan to be the listing agent.
I've bought and sold a few houses in different states over the years, as an owner-occupier, and each time I've learned a little more, but Dan was by far the most knowledgeable and helpful agent that I've come across. Thats not because the others were poor, its that Dan was that much better. If you have high standards and expectations, Dan Gamache will not disappoint you.

We have known the Gamache team for several years and always knew they did get work, but we had no idea the level of service we were going to receive when it was our turn to buy our first home. Admittedly we did not start our house hunt with the Gamache team and this proved to be a big mistake. We must have looked at about 10 houses and put down offers on about 7 with no results which became extremely frustrating. After switching to the Gamache team, the very first house we put an offer on, we closed on. When we finally found "the house" he made himself extremely available to our loan agent and to the seller's Realtor to make sure we got the best deal and could move in as quickly as possible.
