I have updated our house listing to give as much information as possible and have all kinds of comments on it. Actually my realtor has folks asking if I'd do this for them. I told her sure, I really enjoy it. Many sites don't allow you to do this... but Zillow does!
Then I listed a building lot that we have for sale. All by ourselves - no realtor. Getting a little nervy here! We'll see what happens.
My advice, for what it's worth, add photos & descriptions of your own! Update and CORRECT the listing specified.
Even though Realtors "cannot" count finished basements as square footage, be sure to describe it and add it to your description. We all know when they see and additional 600-1000 sq. ft in space, they comment "this house is only 1000 sq ft?" Educate folks on your property, only YOU know your property not your realtor!
Believe in yourself and sell your property as if you were buying one. You know what you would look for and consider space, upgrades and value. Keep it real though, all our homes are worth a $ Million Dollars $! LOL! Sell your realtor and your buyer on your home!
