I purchased my first home a couple months ago and it was an involved process–as expected. I looked at dozens of listings here at Zillow and found several homes that I wanted to look at in person. That's when I found Gary's name on this site. I read his reviews from other home owners (all of which were positive) and decided to set up a meeting to go look at some properties. Over a month and a half we must have checked out at least a dozen homes around Baltimore city. I am really picky and Gary was extremely patient. He made sure that I was comfortable with the process. I had A LOT of questions. As we communicated more, he gained a better understanding of the kinds of properties I was interested in and made good recommendations. Gary is familiar with the different neighborhoods I was focusing on (Mt. Vernon, Hampden, Remington, Charles Village) and often times he would share listings that weren't yet available on Zillow or similar sites. I was really impressed with how responsive Gary was with communication. I would write an email in the evening after work hoping to get a response the next morning. But I would get a response almost immediately. He was also able to point out issues with some of the houses we looked at which was valuable info as I made an offer on a home. Once my offer was accepted, I worked with Gary's colleague, Bob Kemp, on the mortgage loan. The closing process moved along smoothly and efficiently. Both Gary and Bob and their team worked in concert to meet the closing date. If I'm ever in the market to buy or sell a house, I want to work with these professionals. In the meantime, I would gladly recommend Gary Addington to friends and family in my network.
