Bathroom in basement addition?

Response
With the way you are claiming to set up the basement when it is all done, I would say that the tub would be a good idea as well as maybe leaning towards Hadicap Accessible. Reason being is that a lot of people can't afford or don't want to put their parents in a "Home". Having this set up for a possible "in-law" suite could increase the value as well as being desirable for potential buyers of a home that size. You can do this without having it look like it was made for hadicap access.Look at all the options to make an educated decision and have no regrets.

Pro to pro - let's exchange tips on sites such as Service magic

Response
WOW !! I am very surprized at the comments made about Service Magic. My brother and I have been using SM for years and we set our spending limit and that is all we spend or less. We have grown our business from the 2 of us and 1 truck to 14 employees and 7 trucks due to the leads and word of mouth from SM and our customers. Sounds as if some are not using SM correctly or communicating to SM correctly. I only say this due to the success we have had and are still having. One thing I can say is we did have to find our nitch with the leads so that the competion wasn't so great. We also keep in contact with SM and express our concerns when something does happen like what was described in the other posts. As far as the leads we get from them, there are other contractors as it states but it has always been up to 3-4 others. When there are 4 we call and ask for a refund as they claim the customer will recieve up to 3. Also there are forums and other links to help you use the site properly. As well I believe there are some online seminars to help.I guess that it is not for everyone and/or designed for everyone's business plan. We wish you luck !!!

Contractor needed to install new front door in Hudson, FL

Answer
Don't know if you have found someone yet but you can use this for future reference. There are reputable websites out there to find bonafide contractors. The best one ( which is who we deal with ) is service magic ( google search the name ) you simply fill out the required information and tell a little bit about your project and whala !!! up to 3 contractors who have passed the requirements for Service Magic will call or email you and set up appointments. Part of passing SM's requirements are up to date insurance with a minimum coverage of I think $1,000,000 , have good standing with SM customer reviews ( which you can read ) liscensing in the state and area of expertise. just to name a few. Beware of other sites that do not require the same as SM.All of this is at no cost to you !! The contractor pays for the leads, so they are motivated to contact you and stay competative with their pricing. Try it out and I wish you all the Luck !!!

How much does laminate hardwood cost to install

Answer
There are plenty of variables to any job. With that said, if it is pretty straight forward and not a lot of angles of obsticals than I would say it should be in that $4 - $5.50 per sqft. to install the underlayment and the flooring. Keep in mind that these floors will usually need some 1/4 round trim installed as well. So if it is a basic white primed trim or a stained wood the costs could be slightly different. The reason is the white primed is just caulked and the stained wood needs to be cut exact to get the best finish look.Hope I helped !!!!GHRI
