George was REALLY helpful and walked me through the whole process of getting preapproval and answered all my questions. The only reason I did not close with him is because I never found a place that I wanted at the right price. (Still looking.)

I finally sold my home (requisite for buying a new home) and George has been very helpful and quick to answer my preliminary questions, send a complete GFE, etc... I will do a short term rental for a few months while we intensify our new home search and will probably be using George when we close (hopefully within the next couple of months!)

George was very responsive to me and was very helpful. Although I am in Boston and he is located in Rhode Island, he was more than willing to drive up to Boston to meet me in person. I definitely feel that George offers personal service, and that he is dedicated to doing the best job he can for his clients. I was very pleased with the customer service; ultimately I ended up getting my mortgage through a broker that my attorney had a good relationship with, and I was fortunate to lock in at a rate which was only available for a very short time. George was very forthcoming with details and estimates, and I never felt that he was misleading me in any way.

Kinda feel like I got bait n switch, he checked my credit, quota rate, the checked it again after paperwork done, raised my rate. How?? The 2 hard inquiries put me over 4 for past two years, which lowered my credit score , which increase my rate. His fault???? Debatable. I think its part of the game, they sell your loan for more money because rate is higher. Asked for same paperwork 3 times. Came back to get new paperwork like day before loan closing then a month after closing. I've had many mortgages, I'm not impressed with service and honesty. I wont go back. In fact, I had my daughter go with another broker that we didn't know.

I reviewed the file and the client locked in the rate at the time of application and at no time did it change. The client did incur a slight price adjustment due to credit score, which was disclosed before application. We don't profit from this; it is a price adjustment that Fannie Mae charges in which they benefit from (Google fnma llpa). He was also very disorganized with submitting the requested financials in a timely manner, and didn't have a printer/scanner which made it more difficult. The mortgage industry requires updated financials right up to the closing. Often the client misinterprets this as asking for the same documentation. We did need to circle back to the client after closing. In this restrictive environment, it is is fairly common for Fannie Mae to come back to us when we transfer the loan requesting minor documentation. I'm perplexed by this negative rating. Application taken 2/26 closed 4/1, an efficient process by industry standard.
