I just wanted to add a different perspective to working with The George Wilson Team. We were looking to purchase a home in Raleigh but were currently living in Buffalo, NY. We had family who lived in the Raleigh area and when we would go to visit, we would call Linda and have her set up appointments to view homes that either we had seen on line or she recommended. Every single visit she along with John were able to accommodate us and take us to many properties. Any questions we might have had once we returned to Buffalo we would call their office and either Linda or John would respond back to us immediately if there were not in the office at the time. We did finally find a home in Raleigh and they helped us complete the purchase from the offer to the closing via phone calls with us in Buffalo and sent emails for the closing paperwork. They were able to such a tremendous help to us and we were not even physically in Raleigh. Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $275K in North Raleigh, Raleigh, NC.
Their team helped us sell our house in May 2014. When we listed we were already anxious because there were virtually no comps on the market and we were ready to sell and we didn't really know what to ask and where we started felt like a low ask but we decided to take the leap. Our house hit the MLS at 10:00am on a Wednesday and within 2 hrs we had a full asking price offer and we were ready to jump all over it. We were thrilled. George did a very good job of convincing me and my wife to wait until the weekend and see if we got any other offers. Our house was being shown all day Thursday, all day Friday and Saturday morning until we decided to stop the madness. We had 5 offers by then. We ended up taking 7,000 more than we were asking for the house.
Don't think it's because we priced it too low - it was a 30 year old 1650sqft ranch that needed new windows, had an original HVAC unit, Masonite siding and we ended up getting $162/sqft. They got us the exposure we needed to get absolutely top dollar for our home and we are fans and advocates forever.

When we bought our first home in 2009, we actually began looking at houses with another real estate team, but they didn't really have time for us, so they referred us to George Wilson's team. Each member of the team went with us to look at houses (we looked at ALOT of houses). They were always patient and found more houses for us to look at.
When we found the one we wanted to buy, the process went very smoothly - until the deal fell through at the last minute due to no fault of the George Wilson Team. We had to start all over, which was very disheartening.
Within a few weeks, however, they showed us a house in an area that I would never have thought of looking. The house had just about everything we wanted. John was even able to tell us about every plant that was in the yard.
They were able to help us buy the house without any major issues (the people we bought the house from weren't exactly easy to work with). Since this was our first home purchase, the fact that they were patient, attentive, and quick to explain things that confused us was appreciated.
After we bought the house, we received a thank you note from the George Wilson Team and they checked in with us several times to see how we were doing. We still receive Christmas cards and other communications from the George Wilson Team to this day.
If we ever decide to move, we will almost certainly use the George Wilson Team.

George was always willing to lend a hand whenever I needed assistance. If I had a showing and couldn't get home to let my dog out of the house he was quick to offer assistance. He took personal time to appreciate our concerns with buying a older home as well as encouraged us and offered other suggestions when we couldn't make a decision. Patience with my curious questions and always brought his knowledge to the table to help reassure me whenever I had doubt regardless if it was during the selling process or the buying process.

I am wheelchair bound and live independently so the home we were looking for had to work in a very specific way. Not only did we quickly learn how to get me and my chair inside prospective homes - they both came to know exactly the floor plan I required and so a greater number of homes were eliminated thus saving me the stress of inspecting them.
It was bittersweet finding the perfect-for-me home because it brought to an end the great house search, the undivided attention of both of these professionals and the pure joy of working on the quest with people who really care about making their clients happy.
