George Green III
Principal Broker, ABR, GRI, CNS, SFR
George is a full-time real estate professional with a very dynamic marketing background. He was born in Lexington, but moved to Louisville at an early age, and graduated from DuPont Manual High School. He then went on to complete his studies at Western Kentucky University in Corporate and Organizational Communication. Upon graduation, he spent many years in the marketing department at Anheuser-Busch coordinating key pieces of large scale events such as The Derby Festival, numerous concerts, Super Bowl XXXIX, and the NASCAR Busch Series. However, it didn't take him long to realize he couldn't avoid his passion.
George left the corporate marketing world and soon after became a 3rd generation REALTOR. Following in the footsteps of the generations before him, it was an easy choice to select which national company to start his career with. After spending time in many areas including short sales, foreclosures, single family residential, condo/patio homes, executive homes, lots, new construction, and developments, George realized that he needed to step out and start a company that would challenge the current mindset of real estate marketing. Today, Green & Associates Realty is a growing independent small business in the Louisville marketplace and looks to become a major impact in the future of real estate brokerage.
Besides being a licensed Realtor & Broker, George has earned the designations of ABR, Accredited Buyers Representative; GRI, Graduate of the Realtor Institute (similar to a masters program); & CNS, Certified Negotiation Specialist. George believes education is key and promises we will see that list continue to grow.
Updates: In 2011, George successfully earned his Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource (SFR) as well as his KHC certification for KHC lending.
In 2013 George earned his E-Pro Certification.
