We cannot possibly recommend Clay enough – by far the best RE/Mortgage professional we have ever dealt with! I decided to reach out to Clay after reading sterling reviews of his service on the internet. Initially I was anonymous just trying to get a sense of what possibilities were out there for our loan and the type of professionals we were working with. I was just asking for advice and understanding – not an actual loan. Clay gladly jumped in and offered incredibly detailed and accurate insight. His analysis was devoid of any sales pitch or funneling us towards profitable extras. He answered question after question on how to achieve the best deal, what was best for our scenario, and what to avoid with a broker/lender to make sure we shake out right. He created scenarious and worksheets to help us under the premise we would likely be using it generally while shopping for a loan with other vendors. Truly an amazing advocate on the side of the loan CONSUMER! It was refreshing, honest, and showed an amazing understanding of his craft and genuine desire to be successful by being the best advocate for the consumer.

It was after two weeks of advising me on generic loan scenarios that I let him know I would actually like to go with him to move forward with the loan. His sterling service continued with sound advice on holding for the best rate, maximizing credits / minimizing costs, and gladly clarifying and going over scenarios well into the process. Literally I would send him an email and get a response back within 30 minutes at all times of the day and night! Paperwork and follow-ups digitally or FedEx’d overnight. He even called after hours to help with notary appointments etc.

As younger home owner … Clay’s combination of expertise, honesty, desire to create the best deal on behalf of the consumer, and importantly - ease of accessibility(!!!) by phone / email / text, make him the ideal mortgage professional to work with.
