Went with Clay and Money Source for a refinance and everything went perfectly. Got a great rate, and if they drop again I'll be calling Clay again first thing.
Clay was responsive both on the phone and email, and took the time to answer my many questions. Couldn't have asked for better.

Absolutely EXCELLENT, and I'm a very tough critic. I have dealt with MANY lenders over the years, for both purchasing and refinancing. One common thread I have found repeatedly, is that many mortgage "professionals" are very courteous and give excellent follow up at first; however, once they know they have your business, they are much less available. When you are refinancing or purchasing you want someone ON THE SPOT to answer your questions and help guide you through the process. I have been working with Clay since December, and I can say with certainty that this man is professional, knowledgeable, ALWAYS available, or at the very least, will return your calls or emails promptly. The only reason I haven't closed with Clay to date is that I'm forced into using preferred lenders for my new construction condo that I'm purchasing; however, Clay has even taken his time to give me advice regarding my interactions with them (including rate comparisons), despite his knowing I won't be closing with him. He even welcomed my questions after eight pm one weeknight! From knowledge, to professionalism, to accessibility to honestly, I give him an excellent rating.
Clay Branch is the person you want to work with.

Everything went well, I just happened to end up using another lender that quoted the loans but Clay was quick to reply every time I had a question and he always laid out a clear, easy to understand proposal that was cleverly designed to save money in the long run

I would give more stars if possible to Clay for his work on my refinance. Very responsive from start to finish. Worked his contacts well finding me the best possible deal. Experience really does matter and I would highly recommend working with Clay if one is serious about closing on a loan.
