Sold a home in 2014.

Shannon and Glen were outstanding in helping me sell my home. They worked with me to determine a price that would sell quickly but return as much as possible. Their marketing was outstanding and they helped me with ideas on staging. They were really on top of things as we went through escrow, making the whole process flow very smoothly. They communicated well through the process, keeping me apprised of what was happening on the buyers side of the transaction. They arranged for needed work during escrow and made sure we closed on time. I would use them again and again on either the buying or the selling end of a real estate transaction.

Glen and Shannon (and everyone at Alliance Group ) are professional, dedicated, and hard working. They were able to get my condo sold in no time! Before putting my place on the market, Shannon reviewed comps in my area and came up with a strong plan to get my place sold. Shannon gave me great tips on improvements I could make to my place that would help appeal to buyers. A little effort on my part paid off big in the end. We received an offer within five days of being on the market. Glen and Shannon handled the sale of my condo with honesty and dedication. They made sure that my best interests came first. Sold a Condo home in 2014 for approximately $250K in Mira Mesa, San Diego, CA.

My and wife and I started our short sale process end of Nov 2013 and just got closed about 3 weeks ago. Going into this initially, we were very reluctant and not sure if this would be the best route for us. After meeting with Shannon, we felt very comfortable that this was the best choice and now we are glad we made this decision. We are very thankful for Shannon and Jacqueline in providing us guidance throughout the whole process. Shannon was very informative and Jacqueline handled all of our paperwork diligently. The process was easy and convenient because their team handled everything for us and we only needed to meet a few times during this entire time. They are very professional and knowledgeable. Being a former REALTOR for over 10 years I am familiar with what it takes to facilitate a positive experience for a buyer or a seller. Short sales are messy and frustrating and having been through several as a buyer's agent I was thoroughly satisfied with how Shannon Keatley (Glen's business partner) handled my transaction. I was way upside down on a beach condo and was no longer able to support the mortgage payment. Even though it was an emotionally and financially stressful situation (as expected), Shannon really did a great job by bringing her depth of experience and calm, polite, and helpful demeanor to ease our nerves. Her staff were equally respectful and competent. I can wholeheartedly endorse Shannon and her support staff. You will definitely be in good hands. An added bonus, she was successful in fighting for a mover's assistance allowance which was an extremely pleasant surprise!

I was initially hesitant about doing a short sale on my condo but Glen and Shannon were very reassuring. From the quick response to my initial inquiry, to the regular updates throughout the process, Glen, Shannon and their team at Silvercrest made what was an overwhelming and confusing ordeal into a bearable situation that ended in relief and joy. Sold a home in 2013.

I had a unique situation where my company transferred the headquarters from San Diego to New York City. Obviously, the reorganization is not unique these days. However, I was left in a situation where I still had my income, but due to a mortgage that was underwater, I had to go through a short sale in order to move.

I had tried to deal with the banks myself, but after three failed attempts at asking for options, I reached out to Shannon Keatley at the San Diego Short Sale Experts (Silvercrest Realty). She immediately set up an in-person appointment to review my situation. Because of my continued income and previous attempts with the bank, I was very unsure that they could help me. She assured me that they had alot of experience with similar situations, and was optimistic. (with good reason)

We started the process immediately with their initial package of paperwork. (The paperwork was familiar, but unlike the banks, Shannon was always available and helped me through every step of the way.) Once we got the initial paperwork in, I most often dealt with other employees at Silvercrest. I was initially impressed with Shannon's availability and support, but EVERYONE I encountered at Silvercrest was outstanding. I will mention that more later.

So in less than 30 days from the initial meeting, Silvercrest found a buyer, and in less than 90 days they received approval from both of my banks. (by some act of god) I wish that was the end of the story. By no fault of Silvercrest, the original buyer decided to back out after the bank approval. After this, Silvercrest immediately got another buyer on board, but the banks decided to stop cooperating.

I'm a project manager by profession (and by nature), so once the initial deal fell through, I felt very unstable. I started to contact the office about every move they were making, and the staff there continued to be amazing. Every email, every phone call, every venting frustration, they answered immediately and with an eagerness to help. I could not be more happy with both Natalie and Camille throughout this whole process.

All of our patience was tried, as the banks continued to jerk around and break deadlines and deals, but they persisted through all of the trials and tribulations. By no means was this an easy or short process, as anyone who goes through it can tell you, but I would have never been successful without Shannon, Natalie and Camille! Everytime the banks made me worry, they assured me that they have it taken care of, and ultimately I have to say that they were absolutely right. They took care of me through the whole process.

My advice to anyone who is looking to buy or sell a home (or have to go through a short sale like I did) is to make the first call to Silvercrest.

Sold a Multi Family home in 2013 for approximately $325K in Scripps Ranch, San Diego, CA.

We want to give a BIG THANK-YOU to Shannon,Glen,Natalie,Jacqueline and Camille for doing a great job through our short sale process. We had tried another realtor (who is all over tv) with no luck. The team kept us informed of everything and answered all our questions. They had to work with BofA which is very difficult to begin with, it took almost a year but they were able to get it done and get this out of our life so we could move on and did all of this with us living on the east coast. The staff is very professional and know how to get through the short sale process. We would highly recommend to use San Diego Short Sale Experts/Silvercrest Realty for your real-estate needs. What can I say these guys have got the process working like a well oiled machine. Went as smoothly as could be hoped for. I really thought Wells was going to balk on this one...

Thank you so much for short selling our property. It was a hard decision for us to leave our home of 7 years but your team made the transition the best we could experience. From the initial call to the close of escrow, everyone at Silvercrest Realty – Glen, Shannon, Camille, Natalie, Jacqueline and Derek were exceptionally professional and sincerely cared about our situation.

The housing market slump coupled with unexpected expenses prompted us to apply 3 times for loan modification only to be turned down repeatedly and seriously affecting our financial stability. That left us with no alternative other than to short sell our house. The process was long and required a lot of documentation but the outstanding staff of Silvercrest Realty was there all the way on our behalf and alleviated all our concerns. We are now on a recovery path and hoping to once again live the American dream of owning a home.
