I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and attended the University of Cincinnati. I paid for school working as a contractor and developed a passion for homes, design and energy efficiency. I studied biochemistry and worked did cancer research at a medical school in Cincinnati. I left to take a position at Dartmouth and after spending several years in New Hampshire I moved to Bloomington, Indiana for a position at Indiana University.
While I had a very successful career in science publishing almost 20 papers and receiving a US Patent, I wanted a change. It was then I decided to pursue a career in real estate after leaving science. After rising to become managing broker of my firm, another opportunity took my family to Ann Arbor, Michigan. I know what it's like to relocate and create your new home; I'm greatly appreciative of how wonderful it is to do that here among our unique community.
My unique background as a biochemist and as a contractor greatly helps my clients. These skills will serve you well as my attention to detail, understanding of how homes work, and experience helps you buy with confidence and allow your home reach its marketing potential.
Our family chose to live in Superior Township, an area of Washtenaw county convenient to everything our community has to offer. My wife is a faculty member at the University of Michigan. We spend our free time with our children and frequently travel. I enjoy working on my own home and, unfortunately for my wife, there's no job big enough to intimidate me.
I quickly become the top producer and managing broker in my former office because I'm passionate about real estate and helping people achieve their goals. My former clients become my friends. My future clients always challenge me with a new set of goals. Every transaction is different which I what I love about real estate, an opportunity to make a positive impact in people's lives.
