Sold a home in 2011.
Nice seeing Gordon Stephenson's name on this site (Zillow.)

My 50 cents worth: I have worked with Gordon on multiple occassions, dating back to the winter of 1987.

One of the best brokers in Seattle.

By chance, Gordon was the Listing Agent on a 10 unit mixed unit building I purchased this past summer. Gordon made the whole process smooth, and workable, even though the building was not financeable.

Land Use Code, Developement, Residential Sales, etc. He is solid in all aspects.

One of the few people I call for advise.

Thank you for your kind comments! And congratulations on that mixed use retail/multifamily building you nailed in West Greenlake. You've already done a terrific job of bringing that place back to its former glory.

Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $3.275M in Madison Park, Seattle, WA.
Gordon is easily the best realtor I've known. In addition to the rock solid fundamentals -- knowledge, experience, negotiating skill -- he made my house purchase experience an easy, even fun, process. Thanks to his guidance, I feel confident in our real estate decisions.

Sold a Single Family home in 2010 for approximately $500K in East Ballard, Seattle, WA.
Gordon was referred to us by a family friend who has worked with him for years on all kinds of real estate transactions. He came to us with the highest of recommendations, and our experience has been nothing but positive. From day one, he knew all kinds of quirky details about our particular street and neighborhood in Ballard, told us things we never knew about the house we were selling, regarding its history, building materials, and even our old furnace; extremely knowledgable. The sale of our house went seamlessly, and every step of the way, he had "a guy" to call that saved us time and money. He is smart, confident, well-connected, patient, reassuring and funny. Someone you want in your corner when going through this process.

Sold a Single Family home in 2007 for approximately $900K in Ravenna, Seattle, WA.
Gordon helped us buy one home, sell it 15 years later when we were buying our current home. We placed a contingent offer on our second home and he choreographed the sale of our previous home in a week. He priced the home perfectly, which resulted in a bidding war and a better than expected sales price. What stands out most for me is his breadth of knowledge iin all aspects of the real estate process. He is an expert in the financing choices, the options when placing offers etc. He has vast experience and helps his clients successfully navigate the entire process. On top of it, Gordon has lived in the Northeast Seattle/Lake Forest Park area his whole life and has loads of connections. When we needed a soil engineer to assess our remodeling plans for new home, he was able to get a hold of a guy who has a reputation for a several month wait. That engineer inspected the land two days later. If you're looking to buy anywhere in Northeast Seattle, L.F.P or Shoreline, I have a hard time imagining you could do better than hiring Gordon.

Bought a Vacant Land home in 2013 for approximately $2.375M in Kirkland, WA.
3.5 months ago, Gordon helped me and my husband purchase a waterfront lot in Kirkland. As first-time home buyers, we knew very little about the process and relied on Gordon's expertise throughout, especially because the property we were purchasing was a tear-down. Gordon helped throughout the entire feasibility period, letting us know what work should be done to evaluate the property, reviewing the results, asking follow-up questions about things, and helping us to protect our interests when we discovered the property had contaminated soil due to an unknown oil tank that had not been decommissioned. We saved tens of thousands of dollars on clean-up costs thanks to the way Gordon restructured our contract after we discovered this issue. He was always quick to respond, negotiated the initial offer and follow-up requests with great skill, and ultimately helped us feel confident that we knew what we were purchasing and that we could use the property in the way we wanted to.

More impressive, though, is that more than three months after the sale was complete, Gordon is still ready and willing to go to bat for me and my husband and make sure the sellers fully uphold their end of the contract. He spent months working with me to make certain we received everything we were owed, is advising me on how to proceed with the soil contamination clean-up, and he has been happy to e-mail over references for architects, builders, a list of things to consider for our future house. This is not something that he has to do, and he isn't getting paid more for doing so; he does it because he wants to help us make sure we get everything we are entitled to, and because (I like to think) he sees us as friends as well as clients.

We'll certainly use Gordon in the future for our real estate needs, and would recommend him without hesitation to others looking for a knowledgeable, friendly agent who will put your interests ahead of everything else.

Bought a Single Family home in 2005 for approximately $775K in Madison Park, Seattle, WA.
Gordon has helped my family buy two homes, one in 2012 and one in 2005. In both cases, he did a terrific job. He is extremely responsive (especially to clients who come to him from Zillow), he is very patient (especially with first time buyers, who need the extra help), and he is a great negotiator. In addition to being an agent, he owns and runs his own brokerage, so he's much more experienced than your typical agent. And he is also a property manager and real estate developer so he is able to bring the perspective of a potential homeowner AND property owner (i.e., investor) to each transaction. I'd highly recommend Gordon.

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $400K in Camano Island, WA.
Gordon recently helped us buy a second home on Camano Island. Gordon is efficient, intelligent, and extremely knowledgable. We weren't in a particular hurry to find a place, and he was patient and flexible with our slow progress. Plus he's got a great sense of humor -- a definite plus when going through the process of buying a house! I can't say enough good things about working with Gordon. He definitely makes you feel that your concerns are his own, and I had no worries about any part of the process. I felt confident at every step of the way that things were working in my favor, and they were. I'd recommend him to anyone, and would use him again.

Sold a Condo home in 2012 for approximately $475K in University District, Seattle, WA.
Gordon has helped us both buy our new home and sell our condo. We could not have asked for a better experience and a more knowledgable agent. Gordon has helped us get the house for a good price despite other bidders. He has navigated us through a complex maze of property easements and other legal issues. Now, for the encore, he has talked us into selling our condo for a price that is actually higher than we wanted to get. And he sold it on day 1! He knows Seattle and he has a lot of great contacts. Pick him and you will be in good hands!
