Team reviews

Grant and his team have been a pleasure to work with for my family. He listened closely to our specific needs, explained the process to us clearly, and did not waste our energy with homes that were out of our price range. He did so much more than was required or expected as he was great throughout the entire process and importantly saved us money during the price negotiations as we did not have experience in the NYC market especially with coops and condos- he has plenty of experience which guided us through a smooth process from start to finish. We found Grant to be a highly attentive professional always returning our many phone calls and emails at all hours. Later friends sold their a NY coop apartment with his team, and he was honest about some minor changes that they needed to make to attract more buyers, and his advice worked to improve their sales price. Overall a major thumbs up for Grant for any NYC transactions.

Found a tenant for a home in Apt, Jonesboro, AR.

Great to deal with. Responsive, informed and committed. Would recommend her to anyone. Have dealt with many brokers in my time and would recommend here time and time again. This would be not only for rentals but for all type of real estate transactions. She's a real pleasure to deal with and will get it done whatever your need is.

Sold a Apartment home in 2013 for approximately $700K in Upper East Side, New York, NY.

Whitney Farber is a very impressive and knowledgeable real estate agent. Many other real estate agents have failed to deliver on their promises, Whitney has always come through and has never disappointed me. There are not enough words to describe how thorough, intelligent, diligent and pro active Whitney is. Whitney Farber is now our "go to" real estate agent for all our real estate needs. I highly recommend her. Susan Zucker, Member 627 Smith St, LLC

Helped me rent a Multi Family home in Upper West Side, New York, NY.

Whitney took our budget and lifestyle seriously in choosing which apartments to show us. We are a military family, and Whitney stood by us in negotiations all the way through to signing. Whitney took a lot of time with us and paid attention to detail. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to rent or own in Manhattan.

Showed home in 2014 in Brooklyn, New York, NY.

I can't say enough good things about Grant and his team. I was very budget oriented during my search and hugely unfamiliar with the NY real estate pitfalls (aside from renting...buying is a whole different ballgame) - they did a tremendous job keeping me competitive in the market and walking me through the process. Everything was thoroughly explained to me as we went along, and never once was I pressured into anything that was out of my budget, or didn't meet requirements. As a result I felt comfortable accepting some key recommendations during several offers. Many realtors in NY would have taken advantage of that amount of latitude; Grant did not. If you are looking for an upstanding, intelligent, and exceptionally reasonable group to help you with your NY real estate transaction, look no further.

Helped me rent a Cooperative home in Upper West Side, New York, NY.

Grant assisted with finding us a beautiful Upper West Side luxury rental in connection with our move from Norway to New York in the summer of 2014. As a lawyer, I am focused on details and have high expectations with regards to my broker approaching my engagement with speed, structure, (market and area) knowledge and integrity. Grant delivered on all accounts. He was quick to respond, structured in organizing great showings that met a detailed list of requirements (I flew in to NYC for a long weekend to do showings, and all were organized neatly with regards to times and neighborhoods), and did so with insight, patience, honesty and sound advise. In addition, I found Grant to be a very personable guy who was easy, fun and interesting to hang out with. Having Grant and his team on your side when diving into New York real estate will certainly ease an otherwise stressful challenge. I highly recommend Grant, his Keller Williams Realty team and their services to anyone looking to make a move to New York or otherwise looking to relocate within the City.

Helped me rent a Multi Family home in Manhattanville, New York, NY.

I was a realtor's nightmare. A fourth year medical student living off of school loans with no income. Parents didn't make enough, even combined, to be good guarantors. I was moving back to the city but only after finishing my board exams; the final tests that make or break your chances of getting into residency. Needless to say, I didn't have the time to keep traveling to the city from upstate when study time is precious in the final weeks leading up to these tests. And to top it off, the move had to occur on Labor Day weekend since I was due to start a rotation in a Bronx hospital the following Tuesday. Basically, I needed a guy who could manage the transaction remotely so that I could move down, cross my T's, dot my I's and have a place to live. At first I looked to Craigslist for an apartment since all my previous places in NYC were found there. Those included a garage in S.I. and some little kid's old room (no, the kid had grown up and moved out and was not in there with me) in a house in Far Rockaway. I wanted something a little nicer this time since I would be there for a year. However, I wasn't holding my breath since my demands were already enough to make a real estate agent cry. I went to the Keller Williams website, told my sob story to their online chat box and left an email for follow up. My file ended up on Grant Braswell's desk and I'm glad it did. I was asking for A LOT but he was patient with me and said, if necessary, he could make some walk-through videos for me and email them to me. He sent me some good options online and was also open to housing suggestions I found on my own. In the end, I bumped my test date to mid-September to get some extra studying in, which afforded me a day to drive down to NYC with my dad to meet up with Grant. This is where this guy really started to show off why he's so popular on Yelp. With less than a week's notice of my arrival, Grant collected a number of places to go see and, knowing we only had the day to look, took us through a whirlwind tour and several apartments within my price range (without ever making us feel like we were rushed). The apartments all looked good to me, but I didn't look very good to the apartments since my school loans didn't really count much to make me appear like I could pay my rent. Grant helped with that as well, discussing my situation with other realtors/property managers and finally working his magic on a spot in Harlem. We then went back to Grant's apartment where he helped us expedite all the paperwork all in the same afternoon. With the current tenant moving out that day, I would only need a hotel room for a night while they repainted my new apartment. I can see a lot of realtors getting pretty annoyed with my situation, but Grant was always understanding and patient. What's more, he took a substantial chunk off his broker fee to alleviate some of the stress of the move while studying. I've been in the apartment for a little over a month now, the tests are all in the books and I couldn't be happier. Grant was a huge help in my move back to the city and Grant, if you ever read this, I'm still waiting on that offer to grab a beer once my test was over! I would recommend Grant to anyone, but especially any students new to the real estate game. Grant was excellent.

Showed home in 2013 in Chelsea, Manhattan, New York, NY 10001.

Grant was incredible, he helped me quickly find a place that was perfect for my small growing family! Grant's in-depth knowledge of the neighborhoods in Manhatten (and over in Brooklyn), helped us understand where we wanted to be, and how we could best stretch our dollar to get what we wanted. He's an absolute professional, and also someone you can grab a beer with after looking at a bunch of listings so that you can crunch through what you saw, what's out there, where to go next.

Sold a Condo home in 2014 for approximately $900K in West Village, New York, NY.

I first contacted Grant when I needed a referral agent for my cousin who had to sell her place in the Chelsea area of NYC. As a Keller Williams agent myself, I work in the Northern Los Angeles area, and when I was looking for a New York agent, someone I could trust and be sure would take good care of my cousin, I had heard that Grant was amazing, with a wealth of knowledge and an abundance of patience. Grant and his team not only exceeded my expectations, but more importantly, my cousin's! She couldn't say enough about their professionalism, kindness, respect, as well as their great negotiation skills, getting her even more money than she had expected. It is an understatement to say that I was thrilled with the Braswell team's overall performance, and I would recommend them to anyone I know in the New York City area. A big THANK YOU to Grant and his team for making the sale of my cousin's place such a positive, effortless and rewarding experience.
