I was introduced to Greg by my next door neighbor who had used Greg and his team to purchase his home. I sought a referral from this neighbor as he was a particularly sharp business guy with a particularly high performance and expectation level. And especially, I held his insight in high regard. This neighbor spelled out in very clear terms the excellent experience he had had with Greg and his team over a multi-year home search period. With that, I contacted Greg and set up a meeting. He was very kind and made me comfortable right off the bat. There was no "sales pitch" only a clear and concise description of the value proposition he brings to the table. Shortly thereafter I signed him up to sell my home. Being with a major firm and having a solid team in place Greg has the basic service platform solidly covered. Greg is well known in the local community as one of the top brokers and therefore has a busy operation. I was a bit concerned about this and because my home was relatively smaller than some of the mega-mansions he represents. The reality was that Greg and his team treated me like gold from start to finish. They were all very concerned with ensuring that I had a comfortable and easy experience. Their performance was all around excellent and consistently so throughout. While Greg & Co. did an excellent job with the basics, the admin, concierging the process, etc. it was the depth of experience and knowledge of the market which made me glad I had chosen Greg. First off, I had a small house on a large lot which created an outsized price per square foot problem for us - my home needed to be listed at a seemingly high price to its comps. I thought Greg did a really impressive job of articulating that story to the market. And while I generated multiple offers quickly, because we had gone over the valuation in such depth I was not concerned that were were underpriced. As it turned out I had a rocky time with these potential buyers for a variety of reasons and fell out of escrow a few times. On one occasion, there was a torrential rain storm the night before a home inspection and unbeknownst to any of us, water had pool underneath my house which spooked the buyer. I was freaking out to put it plainly. Greg could not have handled it any better. He calmly assured me that everything was going to be ok. He reminded me that he's done this over a 1000 times and has seen everything and not to worry. He knew which service providers to call and got the water situation handled. All throughout the process, Greg was scouring his vast network for the right (ideally cash buyer) for my house. He was not just posting the listing on MLS and waiting. In fact, the buyer that ultimately bought my house was not even in the market at the time. It was through Greg's knowing of this buyer (an investor in luxury homes) and their broker that a deal was originated and consummated. I learned from that experience of the many unexpected outliers that can occur when selling a house. I think what makes Greg particularly special is his ability to roll with those punches and make them a more graceful experience for the buyer who may be on edge with the process. I should speak for myself. I was on edge, things went zig zag along the way, and Greg and his team navigated the situation with grace. I'm just remembering this now as I write this. Greg used to use an analogy that he was the pilot of the airplane and I could sit and relax in the cabin and everything was going to work out. He was right. I really appreciate the care they took with me and the excellent job they did. I would definitely recommend Greg and I would definitely use him again.

Bought a Condo home in 2012 in La Jolla, La Jolla, CA.

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $3.675M in La Jolla, La Jolla, CA.

We are new arrivals to San Diego and Southern California. We spent several weeks familiarizing ourselves with the San Diego area. Once we decided to focus our efforts on La Jolla, Greg was referred to us by our realtor in Aspen, Colorado.
