Bought a Single Family home in 2012 in Bellingham, WA.Summary:
My wife and I were first-time home buyers and knew very little about the details of home buying outside of interest rates and checking the condition of the property. Greg provided lot maps of Sudden Valley that helped us locate and check out available properties. Once we targeted some specific homes which we were interested in, Greg was extremely flexible with his time in meeting with us at the properties to do walk-throughs. Never pushy, yet always there with an answer when called upon, Greg embodied exactly what we were hoping for and needed in an agent.
When we decided to get serious about one particular property, Greg put us in touch with an absolutely wonderful financing expert along with an equally professional certified home inspector. Throughout the rest of our buying experience we felt as if we had our very own personal team of advisers and administrative assistants! After meeting with us and exchanging ideas, Greg handled all the negotiations and had any necessary paperwork ready and processed within hours. We were able to find common ground with the seller on many more expenses than we had originally expected, thanks to Greg's professional yet very personal demeanor and his unique knowledge of the community. His expertise and professionalism not only saved us a great deal of out-of-pocket expenses but helped close the sale expeditiously which he knew was important to the seller.
We are people who value hard work, honesty, dedication to one's commitments, and a mixture of professional and personal attention to detail. Greg Paul embodied all of these traits while helping us find the exact type of lot and home we were hoping to find when we began our search - for the budget that we walked into his office speaking about from Day 1. We give Greg Paul the highest rating possible as a realtor you can trust to help you make one of the biggest decisions of your life. Thank you Greg!…More Less

Showed home in 2009 in Roosevelt, Bellingham, WA 98229.Summary:
We have worked with a lot of realtors in the past, selling and buying, and Greg has been the best realtor. We had our home on the market for 2 1/2 years in another area. During that time, when we called about a home that just came on the market he was always available to show it to us. Greg was very patient and gave us space while touring the homes, and when asked, he gave his opinion and was never pushy. We finally sold our home and Greg showed us three times the home that we finally bought. He was professional in writing up the offer and gave us very good advice and referrals for inspectors and contractors. We highly recommend Greg to help sell or purchase a home in the Bellingham area.…More Less

Sold a Single Family home in 2011 in Bellingham, WA.Summary:
From the first meeting Greg was very prepared and had a very clear and extensive plan on how he was going to market the house and track the agents who came in to show it to their clients. He was very realistic when it came to deciding the listing price and when it was time to make an adjustment. He has extensive knowledge of the market for properties in Sudden Valley so knew what to emphasize in terms of the key selling points of the house. He was also the voice of reason when it came to negotiating with potential buyers and gave the best advice on how to handle the offers.…More Less

About Greg Paul
Add personality to your profile! Tell the community about yourself, your home, and your profession.
My name is Greg Paul, and I’ve been involved in residential real estate sales and development since 1988. My background also includes managing a privately owned, 18-hole championship golf facility. The experience of operating a semi-private golf program has added greatly to my business and people skills. It also greatly enhanced my network of friends and business associates – which has benefited my real estate business a great deal. I enjoy serving both buyers and sellers, as my business is nearly split 50/50. I also enjoy real estate investment personally. I’ve dabbled in residential vacant land, and have even built homes.
In the summer of 2007 I decided that it was getting too difficult to manage and properly serve a golf program, while at the same time continue serving my growing client base in the real estate. As if April 1, 2008 I retired from the golf business, and have devoted 100% of my energy to real estate.
My family calls the lakeside and golf course community of Sudden Valley home. Sudden Valley is a recreational community that has approximately 3,400 properties. The original developer, The Sanwich Corporation, is long gone. All property sales are re-sale now. However, nearly 800 vacant lots remain in the community, which makes Sudden Valley a very interesting, enticing place for me. I’ve got golf, Lake Whatcom, other recreational amenities, a vast selection of homes and condominiums, and future development opportunities right in my back yard.
