Gregg Shedlik helped me purchase a condo in San Diego recently and it was a great experience all throughout. As a first-time buyer, I did not really know what to expect but Gregg was extremely understanding and informative, constantly answering my questions and helping me navigate the entire process from searching for a property, to getting a mortgage, to closing the deal.
He was extremely helpful in every single aspect of buying the property, even sitting down with me to explain the math behind how mortage rates were calculated. Because of his expertise and help, I was even able to get almost an ENTIRE PERCENT off of my loan.
Gregg is super attentive and responsive...he promptly responds to any emails, calls, and other requests from both myself as well as the title companies, mortgage companies, banks, etc.
All in all, he made the arduous process of home buying feel like a cake walk. I would 100% recommend Gregg Shedlik if you are trying to deal with real estate in San Diego...he is simply amazing.

I managed to buy a condo in North Park while living in Washington State. Gregg’s expertise and professionalism in both areas of real estate and the mortgage business made the whole buying process manageable and seemingly easy – I used him both as a Real Estate Agent and as a Mortgage Broker (he helped me lock in a good mortgage rate just before the rates went up couple of hours later). He was always attentive and addressed all my concerns and questions; phone calls and emails were returned immediately, even after closing escrow. I could tell any advice given by him were based on the wealth of knowledge he has of his profession and the knowledge of the San Diego area real estate market. Gregg helped me with the purchase of two properties (my first home in 2007, and my latest home, which we just closed on). Gregg acted as both my realtor and mortgage broker for each transaction. Having only one person to deal with during the home buying process made things very easy. He was very patient - he showed me and my wife probably around 20 properties over the course of a few months. Gregg always gave us his honest assessment on each property, and we never felt pressured into putting an offer in on a property that we didn't like. In some cases, he actually talked us out of a few properties that we asked to look at, because he knew they wouldn't be a good fit for us. For both purchases, we were looking in the PB and Bay Park areas, and his knowledge of these areas and the history of the local real estate market is extensive. In addition, he owns several investment properties in the PB area, so his experience and local knowledge was very useful to an aspiring real estate investor. Gregg was also able to get us a good rate on our loans, especially considering the state of the mortgage market and that we only put 10% down on each purchase. Gregg is also great about staying in touch past the purchase of the home to make sure everything is going well. When I was deployed overseas a few years ago, Gregg also acted as my property manager, helping me rent my place out to a tenant. I couldn't be more thankful for his help finding and dealing with a great tenant - my neighbors all loved the tenant he found, I always received the rent checks on time, and the place was well taken care of.
