As a dedicated full-time real estate professional, Kevin Gueco combines an understanding of the real estate market with the latest technology in order to provide world-class service to people who are as serious about meeting their real estate goals as he is to helping his clients achieve them. Kevin was an early pioneer of using professional video production to market his listings, often resulting in sight-unseen, all-cash offers. This forward-thinking strategy integrated with Climb Real Estate's print marketing, public relations, online marketing, social media, and hyper-local advertising all make Kevin's marketing campaign for your property the most comprehensive in the industry.

Kevin establishes clients for life by putting their interests first and by striving to exceed their expectations. He has the strategic industry partnerships that are necessary to better advise clients in the negotiation and marketing involved with real property sales transactions. A principled negotiator, he keeps issues in perspective and intuitively finds solutions. In today's competitive marketplace, up to the minute information is vital to every real estate transaction. As your personal real estate consultant, Kevin is committed to doing his "HOMEwork" and yours.

While attending the University of California, Los Angeles, Kevin was introduced to real estate through his work at GBInvestments, a property management firm that managed over 3 dozen commercial properties in Santa Monica. With stellar grades, clinical experience, and an MCAT score of 28, Kevin was on track to attend medical school. But after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology, he decided to entertain a passion for food and explore his options in culinary arts. It was by working as a line cook at Bradley Ogden's Arterra that Kevin learned about the teamwork, time management, preparation, and standard of perfection that are necessary to run not only a top-rated restaurant, but any successful business.

San Francisco not only is the food capital of the west coast, but it also happens to be one of the best real estate markets in the world. So it did not surprise anyone when Kevin found himself going back to his roots in real estate. "It was only by working in a fine dining environment that I was able to understand the true meaning of customer service. There is nothing I won't do for my clients." Armed with local market knowledge, years of experience, and an innate desire to help others, Kevin is on his way to becoming one of the most respected real estate professionals in the nation.

As a member of the nonprofit Home for a Home, Kevin donates a percentage of his income from each transaction to build a home for a family in critical need. When you choose to work with Kevin Gueco, you are improving the lives of families in one of the poorest areas of highland Guatemala by helping fund the construction of safe, secure homes in their village.

Kevin is also a strong supporter of the nonprofit Minds Matter, which rewards high-achieving low-income students from local San Francisco communities with mentorships, enriching summer programs, financial aid, and scholarships, which simultaneously broaden their life dreams and prepare them for college success.

Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $975K in Potrero Hill, San Francisco, CA.

Kevin just helped us sell our single family home in Potrero Hill, and our experience with him was phenomenal. A little over a month ago, we were in the stressful position of having to hire a new agent after our original listing agent made several significant missteps in marketing our house, and Kevin was one of the three people we interviewed to take over the job. Though all three agents were qualified, Kevin set himself apart in that he was confident he could sell our house quickly, at a good price and strategically without having open houses or being on the multiple listing service. And yes, Kevin delivered, and then some. Though there are many good, responsive and personable real estate agents in San Francisco, Kevin is simply a cut above the rest. Here's why:

Use of technology: Kevin is at the forefront in his field of using the latest technology to streamline the selling process. For us, this meant we were able to save hours of time by signing all documents electronically and from our own home, without printing, scanning, faxing etc. Kevin is also adept at using technology to market a property online, maximizing exposure to potential buyers (the person who ended up buying our house came from another part of the state).

Flexibility: For being one of the top agents in the city, Kevin is remarkably flexible and willing to do whatever it takes to deliver for his clients. He was amenable to my suggestions on how to market our unique property (that our previous agent shot down).

Results: Kevin sold our house in just a few weeks, to an all-cash buyer and for a price that exceeded our expectations. We were able to close quickly and easily and it was all due to Kevin!

BOTTOM LINE: If you are reading this and even remotely considering selling a property in San Francisco, call Kevin....you won't regret it!!!

Bought a home in 2012.

I was a first time home buyer and had originally jumped into the process with very little information about the market (actually had to read books like Home Buying for Dummies, etc). Obviously I was quickly overwhelmed and got the sense that there was a large part of the market that I did not have access to without an agent. That where Kevin came it. I can break down my home buying process into two phases: BK and AK...Before Kevin and After Kevin.

Before Kevin: Running around from open house to open house without an idea of what I wanted and how to get the home I wanted. Finding out that almost all the properties I saw were already in contract. Considering settling for properties which were below my expectations.

After Kevin: Narrowing down my hunt to only homes I was interested in. Getting private showings of before market properties. Having the inside track on listings before anyone else placed offers. Having the security to know that Kevin was working his tail off to get me a home that I could live in and love for years to come.

Seriously, the degree to which working with Kevin made my life easier and more stress free cannot be understated. He sat down with me on our first meeting and really spent time figuring out exactly what I wanted. From then on, we were constantly looking at properties which I didn't even know were available. Also he kept constant communication with me and always responded to my numerous questions.

Ultimately he helped me narrow down my location (SOMA/South Beach/Mission Bay) which was important since I work in the East Bay and found a building, The Madrone, which I loved. Then Kevin got me to the front of the line for a 2 bedroom unit which went back out of contract. The selling agent pretty much told me that there were a bunch of people that had their eyes on this unit (actually the best one I saw...Kevin insisted that we look at it even though I didn't know I was interested). He negotiated for me a phat closing credit and BOOM, now I am living in my first home and loving it. I really can say that I wouldn't be here if it was not for working with Kevin.

I would strongly recommend Kevin to anyone I knew looking to buy a home for sure!

Sold a Condo home in 2013 for approximately $1.25M in South of Market, San Francisco, CA.

I worked with Kevin on both the purchase and sale of our luxury condo in San Francisco. The bottom line results say it all: On the buying end--Kevin was tuned into the best value properties for the money in the market conditions of the time, and helped us negotiate a very favorable purchase price. On the selling end--Kevin pulled in an all-cash offer $50,000 over our asking price, and the highest offer ever made for a similar unit in our building THREE DAYS after listing it with him.

I contacted Kevin because I was looking for someone with expertise and inside information on new high-rise developments in San Francisco and I was not disappointed! I would rate Kevin's expertise and savvy on the real estate market, timing, and execution higher than any other agents we have dealt with over the years.

In addition to his technical real estate expertise, Kevin is a master at handling relationships and the personal side of transactions, and is just an all-round nice guy! I recommend him highly to any buyer or seller in the San Francisco market.
