Working with Steve and Monica on the purchase of our home in Joshua Tree was a breath of fresh air! During our search for a vacation home in the Joshua Tree area, our experience with most of the other local agents we worked with left much to be desired. The lack of professionalism from some of these other agents was unbelievable! We were delighted when we found Steve and Monica. They are highly knowledgeable, extremely professional, and helped us find an amazing home. This is THE team to work with!

Even though I have my own license, we were relocating to a new area and I wanted someone with local knowledge to represent us. Monica was that and more. She was instrumental in us finding a favorable loan, a really nice house in a great location and was very active in ensuring the closing process continued on schedule. We highly recommend her services. Glenn

Probably if you're a local buyer they would be fine but if you're from out of the area as I was you may find the "customer service" ends before the ink is dry. I've spent 3-months trying to get info on who made repairs and finally gave up and contacted the sellers' agent - she got me the info in less than 5-minutes.

Dear unhappy customer, although I appreciate your candor and your frustration, I believe that you have the wrong person. I never spoke to you, showed you any homes, and certainly did not submit any offer on your behalf or see an escrow to fruition. I am sorry to hear that you had difficulty with your transaction prior or after close, but as you can see from my reviews, I cherish every Buyer and Seller, and am happy and dedicated to walk them through the entire process, especially after the ink has dried.
Monica worked with me for 5 months to sell my mother's home in Yucca Valley. She was patient, very professional, and proactive. I would highly recommend her for anyone wishing to sell their home in the high desert area.

I am a Los Angeles native and wanted to purchase a vacation home in the Palm Desert / Palm Springs area. I met Monica and her husbund Steve while at a property that they had listed. I was very impressed at how profecional they both were and so I asked them to show me a few properties. From there on for about a month and a half I met with them evey weekend until we were able to find exactly what I was looking for. They stuck with me the whole way and continued following up with me after the closing of the escrow. Anyone would be lucky to have them as their agents. I am very happy to have done business with them.

I contacted several realtors in the desert area around Palm Springs about buying a place there while I was living in Montana. Most didn't want to help me out, a few said they would and never got back to me. Finally, I found Monica. She is the only one who responded to me and took me seriously. Within 24 hours her office sent me several listings to look at. One of the things I like most about Monica is that the listings she sent me where exactly for what I told her I was looking for. She never tried to get me into something I didn't want or couldn't afford. She and Mari and the ladies in her office worked very hard for me even though we had never met. I felt immediately comfortable with her and trusted her and them. It didn't take long until we narrowed it down to 3 places. I came down and asked her to take me to the one she liked the most. She did and I did and I decided on the spot to make the purchase. She negotiated a good price and a quick escrow. She and her ladies took care of everything. All I had to do was sign the papers and put up the money. They made everything so easy. But our relationship didn't end there. Monica and her staff answered my questions about the area, what was where and how to get around so that I didn't feel lost. They made me feel welcome in my new neighborhood. I can't say enough good about Monica Hammond and her staff both professionally and personally. She made doing business a real pleasure.

Monica Hammond has helped me in the process of finding a home. She is very professional and takes her clients very serious. Monica was very patient and kind with me and my family and helped me find a home that was in my price range. It was a bit of a challenge and I thought she would get tired of showing me homes but she never gave up on finding me the home that I needed. I highly recommend Monica to anyone that is looking for an agressive and professional agent to help them buy or sell a home.

I made a mistake and tried a couple other "local professionals" before I found Monica. She was the listing agent on a short sale that I was extremely interested in. Monica went above and beyond to assure that the purchase was as seamless as possible for both me, the buyer, and the seller. The professionalism of Monica and her office staff was the best I have ever received. She went out of her way to make certain that I was updated every step of the process, and provided me with such a peace of mind just knowing that she was handling everything. If I ever purchase or sell a home in the Morongo Valley or Coachella Valley, I will absolutely utilize her services again. I highly reccommend Monica, and I suggest that you look no further!

I had the pleasure of working with Monica from Century 21 Les Ryan. Keeping in mind I have purchased many properties over the last 7 years just her level of professionalism and communication made this transaction a real pleasure.
One if the biggest complaints I've had is when working with other realtors is that they were slow to keep me in the loop, possibly taking for granted that I had purchased before, thus no updates............. Not the case with Monica and her staff as we were kept up to date and were able to close sooner than we expected!
An excellent job and we give her 5 stars!!!!
