Bought a Single Family home in 2012 in Carrboro, NC.

Summary:

In the process of looking to purchase a townhome in the Chapel Hill, Carrboro area I and my wife happened to call Hannah Chan regarding a townhome for which she was the listing agent. She informed us about the possibility of a short sale and gracefully explained the entire process as well as gave us the opportunity to have our own buyer agent. Since it was possible to have her as our buyer agent (dual agent) we signed the contract and started our home buying journey. We kept on reading about short sale process on the internet and our heads were spinning. Hannah meticulously prepared the contract offer for the sellers lender bank and explained us every step in great detail. She quoted our offer price and effectively communicated with the specific departmental personnel of the bank and our offer was accepted within a month.

Hannah provided every possible help in securing the loan, home inspections, closing attorney all at unmatched prices. We closed on the townhome in less than three months. Throughout the process she was firm, resolute and gave us the confidence that we can secure the deal and eventually we did. Hannah is extremely resourceful, effective communicator, meticulous, goal-oriented and knowledgeable about every phase of home buying. We had read regarding short-sales being tidious, time consuming and irritating process and we totally agree on that. However, an excellent buyer agent like Hannah kept us patient, involved and focused every step of the way until the completion.

In my opinion, Hannah chan is an excellent buyer agent and a terrific short sale specialist. I would definitely recommend her expertise.…More Less
