Bought a home in 2011.
I have known John and Rich Harty for 16 years. They were our construction managers when we renovated and expanded our home. Bought a Single Family home in 2012 in Waukegan, IL.
I hired Rich to help me navigate the murky waters of first-time home buying. Good thing I did! Rich's knowledge about all things real estate proved to be invaluable in getting me a quality home for an unbelievable price.
Not only did he know the local market inside and out, but his knowledge of how houses are put together and such was astounding! This is a professional who really does know the business from A to Z.
His many resources and connections to people in his profession meant that my choices were well informed and not blindly made. He virtually had answers for all of my questions, however inane. He also remained calm through the whle process, something I failed do.
Throughout the whole process Rich felt more like a very knowledgable friend than a hired pro. He speaks his mind when he feels someone may be about to make a mistake. His passion for getting the deal done in my benefit rivaled my own.
Simply put, on a scale of one to ten I rate Rich's overall performance as a ten and a half. The extra half being added because he went above and beyond many times, in my best interest.
