Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $850K in Kaneohe, HI.
I purchased a home in Kaneohe through Alison Wisnom, RA. She provided top-notch professional services promptly and kindly throughout the process. She possesses keen insights on the property conveyance process, responding quickly to needs as they arose and was utmost responsive to questions raised. I recommend her most highly as an agent to use if you are dealing a property transaction through Hawaii Life. Other agent staff performed in a commendable manner which eased the paperwork and contract process greatly.
Alison is very caring and personable, possessing strong and perceptive negotiation skills aimed at closing the deal in a satisfactory manner for all parties involved in the transaction. I highly recommend Alison without reservation.

It's been a while. How’s your Hawaii Life been treating you? I love the area that you chose.
I cannot say enough good things about Cheryl Gillotti. I met Cheryl through your website and although I have used many realtors over the year, I was blown away by her insight, professionalism and honest caring. There was not one part of the process that did not go extremely smooth from searching for a home, to working with escrow. Mahalo Cheryl and Hawaii Life.
Sold a Condo home in 2013 for approximately $1.775M in Anahola, HI.
Rod Easterly was our agent...He and Matt Beall understand the market, pricing and how to make the most of our property for sale. Rod took great photos, did a flyer and email blasts that focused on the unique aspects of the property. He brought in well qualified buyers and advised us on the best way to stage our property. We had a wonderful sale and Rod has remained a friend.
In a difficult market with increasing competition, my Agent, Glenn Forman did a fantastic job of networking and advising as he assembled three offers on my property and sold and closed it withing one month. The process was seamless and efficient and at every turn Glenn was there to explain the process and offer his advice. Really great service!!!!
We were represented as buyer's agent by Jayney Sharpe. Jayney was very helpful in our initial search in Waikiki market. As the East-Coast buyers only familiar with Hawaii from our vacations experience, we needed a highly available, responsive realtor with a good knowledge of Waikiki condo market as well as transactional logistics of purchasing in Waikiki. Jayney filled that role very well, always giving good advice, and going as far as providing custom visual walk-throughs for us for a few properties we were interested in. Once we made the offer, Jayney proved very efficient at managing the contract process and closing logistics. Last but not least, she was very helpful in dealing with a difficult seller, giving what we felt was sound advice that allowed us to close the deal on our terms with significant savings.
Bought a home in 2013 in Hanamaulu, Lihue, HI 96766.
We were very pleased with our experience buying a condo in Kauai. Our real estate agent was very professional and pleasant throughout the process. He was very willing to go out a take videos of any properties we were interested in, which was very helpful. Being out-of-country buyers, we appreciated his help through each step of the purchase process. If we are ever in need of a real estate agent in the future, we will definitely enlist the services of a Hawaii Life agent - hopefully the same one we had this time.
Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $475K in McCully-Moiliili, Honolulu, HI.
My agent with Hawaii Life, Yvonne Shen Rubes, is the best agent I could have asked for. I went through many agents on the island as I hurried to buy a home last year, fearing prices and interest rates would go up and never return. Most agents scoffed at my age, moderate income, "small" down payment (hey, I saved for eight years to amass that sixty thousand; is it my fault if Honolulu homes tend to go for way more than five times that much?), or all of the above. But Yvonne never quit--once she understood my conditions, she kept a close eye on the market every day for a house that might fit my specs (a detached single-family home in Honolulu but not Kalihi) and yet fit the price range imposed by the banks. It wasn't easy, especially given the cutthroat competition in the buyer's market, and after a few months, Yvonne convinced me that maybe we should have a backup plan to prevent the market completely taking off without me. So we started looking at condos and other CPR properties. Then one day, just like the couple who finally gets pregnant after deciding to adopt, Yvonne found a house in McCully for us. It had been on the market for only a few hours, and she stressed that we needed to go and view it that day if at all possible. I took her word for it, and we made an offer that night. In a few days, we learned that although four other offers had been made, the seller decided to accept ours, which I suspected had at least a little to do with the fact that Yvonne sweet-talked them in Mandarin. Thanks to Yvonne and Hawaii Life, we finally have a home of our own.
I worked with Kevin Spaise from Hawaii Life when buying my first property. He was knowledgeable about the neighborhoods, the individual buildings' rental income potential, and the local market. He definitely worked for me- he was honest and would point out both negatives and positives of a property. I've worked with different agents since then in another state, and I have to say that's a great attribute of Kevin's that always sticks out in my mind. A lot of agents point out only the positives in a property to a potential buyer, because their agenda is to sell and close- but Kevin would also point out the negatives, giving a full picture- and for that I think he's the top agent I've worked with. With the negotiations he was willing and able to bring the price down to where I wanted it. I would definitely recommend him and work with him again.
Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $325K in Kailua Kona, HI.
We were extremely pleased with Hawaii Life. Our realtor, Sharon Brown, helped us to sell our house quickly in a slow market and to find the most perfect parcel of land for our next home.
She was always professional. Sharon was sensitive to our needs, and we knew that she was always watching out for us. She helped us weigh our options whenever decisions needed to be made. Whenever we had a question, she had an answer or quickly obtained one for us.
