I specialize in helping buyers. Make no mistake about it, I believe that the Real Estate Market is far to complex for one agent to do it all. Specialty is a MUST.

    Bought a home in 2014.
Mr. Afifi was very knowledgeable of the local area. He was able to provide a lot of information regarding the areas of the town that we were searching for a new home. When we looked at different houses, he was able to provide direction and guidance regarding the pros and cons of each property but never gave a biased opinion. For that reason, we were able to weigh the facts and make our own decision on what house would be best for us. When we did find a house that we were interested in, he was very skilled in negotiating tactics to reach the best offer to make to the seller. He was very detailed in the paperwork, the offer and the purchase contract. He made sure that we were aware of every element of the contract and explained the things that we did not understand. Finally, he was unfaltering and relentless in keeping the whole process moving from negotiations with the seller to communicating with our insurance company and our bank. This was our first house. He guided us through the whole process and in the end I would have to say we were in very good hands. I would recommend him to other buyers.  MoreLess

Bought a Single Family home in 2013 in Evansville, IN.
Ahmed was very professional. He was interested in what was best for us not himself. He was available whenever we asked to go see houses. Ahmed was a great realtor. I would recommend Ahmed to anyone as he was as close to a perfect Realtor as one can get.

Sold a Single Family home in 2013 in Evansville, IN.
When my wife and I decided to put our home on the market we were a bit apprehensive to say the least. This house had been the place where we had come together in marriage and been the place we had brought our daughter home from the hospital and raised her first 3 years of life. Not to mention, the thought of all the work we were going to have to do in order to sell a home in a soft-ish economy was incredibly stressful and daunting.

Luckily, we had Ahmed Afifi as our realtor. I simply cannot say enough good things about Ahmed. From the start, he was very polite, very friendly, very punctual, incredibly knowledgeable, and most important VERY honest and straightforward. As a business owner, I can't express how important that last part was for my peace of mind. I really, really, REALLY appreciated a very no nonsense and non-sugarcoated approach to what we could expect in the coming weeks.

Our first meeting involved Ahmed coming out to our home to take pictures of our house for our listing (on a late Sunday afternoon, of all times). We had very lengthy and straightforward discussion about what we felt our home was worth, what we would like to get out of it from the sale, and what we would be willing to part with when negotiating a counter offer. By the time Mr. Afifi left that evening, we had a set asking price, a good outline of how our listing was going to be worded, and a "For Sale" sign in our yard. We were elated, and I dare say that Ahmed shared our enthusiasm equally.

To be quite truthful, Ahmed's ever-present positive attitude and upbeat personality was a very comforting thing. Selling and buying a home is a scary/stressful thing. You worry about the work of getting the house ready to sell, you worry about the finances, you worry about it not selling, you worry about it selling for too low of a price, you worry about not being able to find the house you want to buy in the area you want at the price you can afford. I can tell you that having a realtor who really, truly, earnestly wants you to be happy during your home selling/buying experience is invaluable. When discouragement would start to sink in, Mr. Afifi's guidance and positive attitude always managed to snap us out of our funk.

OK. Intangibles aside, how did Ahmed Afifi preform? It's a well and good to have a hard working and upbeat realtor, but at the end of the day did he actually help us sell our house? How does 6 days on the market from listing to offer sound? SIX days. Less than a week. Not only did Ahmed host our first (and only) open house of Father's Day of all days (keep in mind that he's a family man himself), he presented the home in such a way that one of the first people who walked through it loved it enough to make an offer just a few hours later. Now, Ahmed will be the first to admit that getting an offer the same day as your open house is incredibly rare, but I feel that he most likely played more of a part in that offer than he might imagine.

After negotiating us a fair deal, Ahmed set to work finding us a place to live. Four, Five, Six houses an evening. In the middle of the week or on Sunday afternoons. He tirelessly emailed us homes to look at and, knowing my very busy work schedule, accommodated our limited time accordingly. After a relatively short "shopping" cycle, Ahmed was able to broker us another fair deal for a house that my wife, daughter, and I hope to turn into our home for the next 20+ years.

In short, buying and selling a home is a lot of stressful work. However, having a diligent, knowledgeable, real estate expert like Mr. Ahmed Afifi makes all the difference. I'm a picky guy who doesn't hand out glowing reviews without merit. I work in an industry where people expect (rightfully so) a lot of service for their dollar, and I can say that without hesitation Ahmed Afifi's service is priceless.
