Nate Ellis has been helping families buy homes since 2001.  As a REALTOR� with Keller Williams Realty in Walnut Creek Nate has built a successful Real Estate Business helping buyers negotiate great deals and finding down payment assistance to help them buy homes.

Nate, know as "Mr Danke Schoen", is an active member in the Real Estate Community and was elected to lead the Realtors Marketing Association (RMA) in San Ramon as the 2009 President.  He recently held the Vice President position  for the Counties largest marketing group, The Contra Costa Realtors in Motion in Concord/Walnut Creek 2007&2008.

Nate is an active advocate for affordable housing opportunities in Contra Costa County.  Working with the City of Walnut Creek Nate has assisted buyers in purchasing Below Market Rate homes
in the City and leveraging First Time Home Buyer Assistance Programs.  Nate has also donated time working with the Mt Diablo Housing Opportunity Center (MtDHOC) in Concord organizing resource fairs for housing needs.  Nate has worked with the Tri-Valley Housing Opportunity Center (TVHOC), The Cities of Livermore, Dublin, Danville, Walnut Creek, Concord, Pittsburg, Antioch, Pinole, Hercules,Richmond, Contra Costa County and State Agencies (including CalHFA, CalPers and CalSTRS) in helping them bring awareness about their housing programs to the public.

Since 2005 Nate has been a Certified Money Management Volunteer (CMMV) for Money Management International and Consumer Credit Counciling Services of the East Bay working with Shirley Dean.  As a Certified Money Management Volunteer Nate donate time to teach financial education classes through out the East Bay.   The Free classes have included Creating a Budget, Understanding and building Credit, and First Time Home Buyer Education and are routinely held at community centers and shelters.

In addition to the volunteer work Nate has helped to raise thousands of dollars for local charities including Shelter Inc, Christmas for Everyone, Contra Costa and Solano Counties Food Bank, Contra Costa Association of Realtors Scholarship Foundation, and Keller Williams Cares.

Nate was recognized for his work in the community and in Real Estate by his peers by receiving the Contra Costa Realtors in Motion Affiliate of the Year for 2006 & 2007.
