Bought a Single Family home in 2012 in Closeburn/Glenkirk, Charlotte, NC.
She was with us every step of the way from the very beginning. She helped us avoid a disaster and find the best house we could afford. I highly recommend her to all home buyers.

Bought a home in 2013.
As a first time buyer, I felt a little vulnerable when I began my house search; I wanted a good deal, and I did not want to be taken advantage.
I lucked out to have Edie Butler as my purchasing agent. I sent a blind email to the listing company for a house I was interested in seeing; Edie promptly returned my request and set up a showing. During that first showing, Edie did a good job of pointing out the pros and cons of the house in a "matter of fact" tone.
Afterwards, we spent an hour discussing the process of purchasing a home, as well as allowing her to ask questions about me to help gain a perspective for what I was looking for in a new home. I felt comfortable working with Edie and was encouraged by her enthusiasm; she really has a passion for her work.
My home search did not last very long as I found what I was looking for in a short time. But what impressed me most about Edie, was her help during the process and the team she has established to help from pre-qualifying for a loan, to home inspections, through closing agents. I felt like I was a top priority by all parties involved. I could not have anticipated such a smooth journey. Edie did a good job of coaching, staying neutral and not making me feel pressured into a decision.

Bought a home in 2013.
We would highly recommend Edie Butler to represent you as a real estate professional.
She went out of her way to work with us, but most importantly she worked very hard for us! She listened to what we wanted and researched for what we were interested in...as well as setting up appointments for us to see these properties. She always explained in detail information about the properties we visited. We are very happy with the results!

Edie was very knowledgeable about homes in the Charlotte area. She took the time to print out copies of the selling contracts, clearly explained (line by line) how they work, and was available to answer all of my questions. I'd be more than happy to recommend her services to anyone looking for a realtor, especially if you are a 1st time home buyer.

I was going to move to Charlotte due to job circumstances. Edie showed me many homes in the near downtown area, that were in my price range and fit closely to my criteria. Unfortunately, I did not purchase since the job transfer was cancelled. I enjoyed her expertise and her fine taste in details to homes special features!

It was a pleasure to work with Edie Butler, and I Iook forward to working with her in the future for other real estate needs. I felt like she genuinely cared about me during my home search process, and I wasn't just a commission to her. In Edie, I have both a new friend, as well as a real estate advisor!

Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $125K in Stonehaven, Charlotte, NC.
We were pretty specific about the area we wanted to live in and the house we wanted. The web-site for us to search houses was very useful. After we would find houses that we were interested in, we usually were able to look at them in a short period of time (sometimes the same day). Edie let us know the importance of home inspections and land surveys. She helped with repair negotiations and I feel that we got a great deal on the house we purchased. We let her know that we were interested in having a pool in the future, so she checked the neighborhood covenants to make sure there would be no problems with it. She kept us updated and informed through the closing process. At closing everything was as smooth as could be.

Edie was such a blessing to our family. She helped us search for our dream house. My husband has a very hectic work schedule and she accommodated us on nights and weekends. I would highly reccommend Edie. She is very kind, patient, and is very knowledgable with the current real estate market. If you are looking for a realtor, don't look any further! Edie is amazing!! Sold a home in 2011.
I worked with Edie Butler to sell and buy homes in the Charlotte area in 2011. She is very knowlegable about the market and was able to get us the sales price we wanted on an existing property, and the purchase price we could afford on a new home. She's very easy to work with and knows how to get a good deal. She also was good and finding us an experienced home inspector. I highly recommend her.

Sold a Condo home in 2012 in Dupont Circle, Washington, DC.
After 25 years in the same house, this single parent empty-nester faced the daunting task of cleaning out the family home and readying it for sale. I turned to Edie, who I've known for years, but only recently as a real estate professional. I am glad I did. Edie is quite knowledgeable, an innovative and resourceful problem solver, and very detail-oriented -- she does not miss a thing. With her help, I was able to break up what seemed an overwhelming chore into easily manageable tasks. Recommended.
